Lifetime's Un-Real has enlisted a new leading man.
Damages' Craig Bierko has joined the drama from executive producer Marti Noxon, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The 10-episode drama goes behind the scenes of a hit competition dating series to follow the experiences of a young staffer (Life Unexpected's Shiri Appleby), whose lone job is to manipulate the relationships with (and among) the contestants in order to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage producers demand.
Bierko will play series regular Chet, the creator of the reality show at the center of the series. The character is described as self-indulgent, with a pompous, self-confident attitude, yet sexy. He's a love interest for Quinn (Constance Zimmer), the show's executive producer, but has no plans to leave his wife and kids for her.
