Why do the titles change so much?
ReplyDeleteI swear I could care less about Sam's story. I almost forgot he even existed till they threw him into this last ep for a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in what Tara is trying to say. And what will happen to Sarah. And if Sookie has any luck getting other help.
What were they before?
ReplyDelete707 was One Last Time
ReplyDelete708 was Getting Closer... to the Ground
'Getting Closer...to the Ground' is a much better title than 'Almost Home', shame they changed it
ReplyDeleteI've also no interest in Sam's story. It makes no sense. Last season his girlfriend was a huge supporter of the supernatural and in one episode she completely changed her personality. The best thing that could happen is that she dies in childbirth in the next episode and Sam becomes a single father.
ReplyDelete- I'm liking the Pam/Eric/Sarah story a lot right now. Mr. Gus is alright too.
ReplyDelete- I know she's a new character (so she's a low priority) but I'm frustrated that Willa has barely had anything to do this season. I wish they'd take away all of Violet's screen time and give it to Willa.
- I liked Adilyn when they paired her with Jessica but I have no interest in her otherwise.
- The Lettie Mae/Lafayette team-up was passably enjoyable last night. I hope they keep it up.
- It's difficult to get invested in Sookie's search for a cure when we know Eric and Pam already found one. A phone call to Bon Temps would be appreciated, Mr. Northman.
"while an old love is reborn for others." Hoyt and Jessica anyone?
ReplyDeleteBut Eric and Pam don't know about Bill yet, do they? So they wouldn't necessarily call.
ReplyDeleteThey wouldn't call for Bill. If Eric had found a potential cure to something that's going to kill him, you'd think that either he or Pam would call the people that care about Him back in Bon Temps and tell them the good news. Unfortunately, neither Pam nor Eric have ever been that considerate and honestly I'm still not sure if Pam really gives a shit about anyone but Eric. So, I'm not holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point, but Eric does care about Sookie, so he might contact her so that she knows he'll be able to recover. However, he might not contact her until he gets cured.
ReplyDeleteI would rather see her with Eric, rather than end up with Bill. She seemed to be daydreaming about Bill when they parted at the door, though. So I suspect that they might have her end up with Bill at the series end, as some others have suggested. Actually, in the books, she ends up with Sam, although she was "married" to Eric for quite a while in the book story line. But the series has departed far from the books, so anything goes at this point!
I'm wondering if her change in attitude might have something to do with what happened to her earlier in the season. I guess that might alter her perspective.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I'm one of the few who ISN'T a fan of the Jessica/Jason pairing.
ReplyDeleteHer friends died during the wolfpack trouble last season. If supernaturally caused trauma was going to change her perspective, by all rights it already should have. That's why this about face makes little sense.
ReplyDeleteI swear I'm the only one who enjoys Bill's flashbacks and I welcome the next episode when I get to see how his human life compares to the vampire we know presently. I equally enjoyed Eric's flashbacks over the seasons.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all the flashbacks too.
