    I still don´t get how ANYONE asked Ian if this was gonna be his last season of TVD to know if this was gonna be the show´s last season

    until the contract negotiations with the studio later this year,they can neither confirm nor deny any information coz they themselves probably don't know which way it's gonna go.So,better to avoid the topic until some soild info emerges.Anyways,julie said that they are seeing season 7 as final season as of now if nothing goes abrupty wrong.You are i are gonna have to wait for the news till jan as the early renewal news of CW shows will hit then.

    Julie has said they would not stretch the storylines anymore than needed.Even i want it end with a proper ending with decent ratings and not limpering at the end like OTH,GG and 90210 did at the end.So,no,10 seasons is impossible.Let's see what happens this jan(renewal news should hit around 10-15 jan).

    Ditto here,god knows which show i will find to whet my Post-TVD apetite after the series ends or even i would find or not.All i know,this show has changed my world in many ways and i would not be able to stop crying during it's series finale!!

    I loved that the cast took the time to say nice things to and about Julie Plec. I'm tired of seeing that poor woman harassed over every little thing.

    Interesting that Elena won't be in a relationship when she's moving on from Damon. They're really keeping her coping mechanism under wraps. If she does hallucinate or just have flashbacks, hopefully it'll only last for one episode. I think she will move on from Damon, though, before he comes back. It wouldn't be a drama show if she didn't. I think the purpose of Damon being gone is for them to grow apart for a season and get thrown together again, and then have to deal with it.
