    She would've been on the promo posters, guess it`s a scene in the season premiere to show off how Hope is doing and then she'll be away until the season finale

    Glad to see that even though see appears to have a new role ( guesting / regular ) on NBC's Aquarius she'll still be able to do The Originals from time to time !!!

    I think it's only for one episode. She appears in one of the first three episodes and is in the trailer that was released telling the baby a bedtime story.

    I don't mean to sound doubtful but are we sure this isn't a flashback to pre-Vamp Michelsons? This could be young Rebekah for all we know and have nothing to do w/ Claire. It says nothing in the tweet about the actress reprising the role just that we'll see the character early in the season.

    Not trying to be pessimistic, just don't want to get my hopes up. I miss Claire on the show so much!

    CH is in the trailer they showed at Comic-Con talking to the baby and Julie said that it will be in one of the first three episodes.

    Thanks for the clarification. I'm glad she's returning even if only for one ep. I'm actually surprised its so soon after the finale. Wasn't expecting to see that baby any time soon

    They shot the first three episodes right after Season 1, so Claire could have filmed the stuff for the season finale and then filmed her part for early Season 2 while she was there.

    I doubt this new role on NBC's 'Aquarius' is a regular gig, because if it is, then clearly Claire leaving and all that, something is up, because why would an actress leave one show as a regular to join another as a regular, so that show must be a guest role or a few episodes. Still on Vampire Diaries, Tyler's character is written out of every season from the story and role is almost recurring with how little he appears, yet he continues to be credited as a regular.
