The Flash has cast Kelly Frye as Bette Sans Souci, aka Plastique, E! News has exclusively learned. Frye will make her debut on the CW's buzzed-about Arrow spinoff's fifth episode.
A bomb disposal expert in Iraq who, following exposure to the energy released by the S.T.A.R. Labs meltdown, Bette now has the ability to turn any object she touches into an explosive device. On the run from the shadow forces in the U.S. government trying to turn her into a human weapon, she finds an ally in fellow meta-human The Flash.

I know there's an easy one-liner with the word "bombshell" rattling around in my brain somewhere but I just can't seem to get a hold of it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she has any connection to Diggle because both are former military
ReplyDeletebut isn't plastique a villain in the comics, i know she was a villain in smallville
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like thee worst super/meta power to have. But I love the idea of her getting help from The Flash.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea that not all meta-humans created by the accident are villans for The Flash; some have become targets and need his help.
ReplyDeletei thought she was an ally for a couple of episodes.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if she ended up becoming a villain due to being hunted by people who want to exploit her power. It's a classic plot twist: you keep pushing someone until they snap and lash out, thus joining the dark side.
