The Flash - Episode 1.02 - Title Revealed
10 Jul 2014
The Flash
Thanks to Famous4it for the heads up.
wow 1x02 amazing this is really becoming true, awesome
ReplyDeleteWhat a lazy title.
ReplyDeletewhat an original title indeed!!
ReplyDeleteWell...Barry Allen may be the fastest man alive, but I'll bet he's not fast enough to outrun the love triangle that the CW is going to hit him with.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely correct. You'll know once you've watched the pilot! This is CW after all!
ReplyDeleteObviously.
ReplyDeleteFrom the pilot, it looks like The Messengers maybe the only show on CW that doesn't have a love triangle.
WOW....that is all.
ReplyDeleteGive it time... ;-)
ReplyDeletejust so you know, episode 3 is going to be called "Things You Cant Outrun"
ReplyDeleteSource please.
ReplyDeleteLol he's faster than light, but he still can't stop the the CW's love of triangles.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's going to be a real love triangle due to who Eddie really is. Also Iris seems to be completely clueless.
ReplyDeleteIf it's not the expected triangle, it'll be another. That's a fundamental law governing the CW universe...something like the law of gravity in our universe :-)
ReplyDeleteWell the flash has many admirers, and he's, arguably ahead of superman, in terms of within the DC Universes popularity index.
ReplyDeleteSounds about right.
ReplyDeleteSo I assume the name 'The Flash' is going to be used as soon as the second episode?
ReplyDeleteNot a lazy title at all. It reminds me of last season's episode of Arrow, "Identity", where Ollie decides he needs to go about with a new "name". "Fastest Man Alive" sounds like a nod to him being called The Flash right out.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteKeep telling yourself that.
"This is CW after all!"
ReplyDeleteWhy do people want to assume already it's "The CW"'s shtick of using love triangles? I present you to Supernatural. I believe it's the writers themselves that want to have love triangles and not The CW hounding down on using that gimmick on each and every show. Especially nowadays with Mark running things.
Hopefully with the apostrophe otherwise that would just be lazy!
ReplyDeleteno, im the lazy one.
ReplyDeleteSupernatural doesn't have a love triangle. Arrow didn't have a love triangle in S2 and The 100's love triangle only lasted two episodes.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love that third episode will focus on Caitlin.
ReplyDeleteDon't get all defensive! They don't bother me, as long as they aren't the sole content of the story...and sometimes not even then, if they are done well. Btw, Arrow actually had something of a love rectangle in S2...i.e.: Who get's Oliver? Sara, Laurel or Felicity?
ReplyDeletecomics have love triangle too
ReplyDeleteI'm not being defensive. It's just that it's tiring that people always complains about this when it's a CW show but for example most ABC shows have love triangles too.
ReplyDeleteArrow S2 didn't have a love triangle. That love rectangle only existed in the fans minds ;) It was only Oliver/Sara for the time they were together.
So I guess most of the titles are gonna be puns about speed and what not aren't they?
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteYou have mentioned the only show with an exception,so i cannot argue with that! It's just,no matter what,CW shows tends to explore this triangle concept sooner or later.Everyone knows that.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's The CW wanting it as much as making it a suggestion. It's the writers who decide to add that element to it.
ReplyDeleteI think most people forget this, as well as some people watching these shows have never read or even touched a comic book in their lives. It was never out of their reality in introducing love triangles, relationships, what have you, in the comics and this has never bothered me when it has come to these shows. The only thing that ever really bother me was 'Lexana' on Smallville but that's mostly because I was tired of Lana Lang as a character since season three.
ReplyDeleteTrue but there is certain pressure exerted by the channel executives at the end of it to take certain steps in order to lure their teen female audience demo. They seem to love these kind of stuff but i agree things are changing gradually for the past 2 years.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Mark, imo. I think now, it's mostly the writers taking that suggestion and running with it, while not having any other original material or ideas.
