    I am really wanted the boys not fighting in season 9 - somehow, that is one of the things I am looking forward to this season. Maybe because it is not passive anymore?

    Dean needs to stay a demon for a looonnnggg time. There's so much more potential in interesting stories for both of them separated than together hunting MOTWs again. I posted this elsewhere, but I'm intrigued that it appears Dean was baiting Sam with his monster comment to use the knife on him.

    I'm keeping an open mind, but this is my first reaction. I don't think Sam can win regardless of his actions. The audience was upset when Sam didn't look for a way to pull Dean out of Purgatory. I have a feeling the audience will be equally upset with Sam when he (possibly) does unconscionable acts while attempting to cure Dean from being a demon.

    I am pretty sure Dean will only be a demon for half the season. I could be wrong though. I thought I read a Carver interview with him suggesting as much but I honestly don't remember for sure what was said.

    Half the season is way more than I was expecting, so I hope you're right. They could have wrapped up this storyline in less than two episodes if they wanted to, and that would have been a huge mistake.

    I dont care what Sam does to save Dean as long as he does and kicks ass doing it. Consequences and collateral damage dont mean anything as last season proved so why should it matter this season? Save Dean, Help Cas restore heaven and put at end to Crowley. Then middle to the world boy and go live a little!
