ReplyDeleteSo happy you guys are back!
ReplyDeleteI know some people who would say LOST was.
ReplyDeleteThanks, its good to be back. We always take a bit of a hiatus when the TV season goes quiet
ReplyDeleteWe missed being on, just busy times for us and a quiet TV wise
ReplyDeleteI haven't listened to this yet, but my picks for best of '13-'14 are: The Good Wife's incredible season 5 (I think there were 3-4 parts over the course of the season that just blew me away), Hannibal's delectable season 2, (I want to include the final 8 episodes of Breaking Bad, not sure if it makes the time cut), Mad Men's first half of season 7, True Detective's first season, and Game of Thrones season 4.
ReplyDeleteIt was a really great season and there are probably 3-4 I've just forgotten or left off.
I know.but people would still say lost regardless, that's how much they hated the ended.
ReplyDeleteI can't agree with the statement about not being enough good female actreces in shows you watch. What about Emily Brett Richards, Amy Acker, Natalie Doormer and Emilia Clarke? Also I don't think you watch Chicago PD but Sophia Bush is pretty great, Hayden Panettiere kills it in Nashville, Eva Green in the amazing Penny Dreadful, Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black, Michelle Monhagan in True Detective and even if The Vampire Diaries is not a very good show Nina Dobrev has proven to have some pretty great acting chops. I know maybe some of the shows may not make it into the season but at least some of them do.
ReplyDeleteI think i mention Amy Acker at one point. I always talk about how amazing she is in every other podcast haha
ReplyDeleteAlso guys I really think you should check out The Leftovers, it's a bit dark and slow-paced but absolutely brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLOL I know but I thought she could have been a mention in the actress category when you didn't know who to nominate. Maybe if you guys check out The Leftovers you'll find a few more awesome performances for the next awards podcast.
