The CW has pulled both Seed and Backpackers from their schedules after just 2 episodes. No doubt as a result of awful ratings, even by CW standards.

No news yet if the remaining episodes will ever air or stream online.

    I like Dillon Casey so I tuned in for Backpackers but honestly I couldn't hear anything they were saying.. the background music was too loud, story seemed stupid and my captions don't work well on CW.

    You can watch the entire series of Backpackers on the CTV website for any Canadians that were/are interested in the show. I have watched the first 3 episodes and thought it was a good show. Had no problem hearing anything either. I wonder if that came from CW's end? Too bad they got "cancelled".

    Because its original channel now knows that it can't factor in potential sales to the U.S. when calculating the show's potential profits in another season.
