Scene Of The Week - July 6, 2014 - POLL

A weekly feature in which we're trying to find the most compelling, best acted, written, directed and just generally great scenes that we've seen recently on TV.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, "Day 9: 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.", June 30, 2014, Actors: Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Kiefer Sutherland, The Scene: Kate threatens Navarro
Bradley Adams:
Kate threatens Navarro to get him to give up the information. Also picked by Sharon Seymour and A Dahne

DOMINION, "Broken Places", July 3, 2014, Actors: Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale
The Scene: Claire confronts her dad and he tells her he's sick (picked by A Dahne)

PENNY DREADFUL, "Grand Guignol", June 29, 2014, Actors: Timothy Dalton, Olivia Llewellyn
The Scene: Sir Malcom kills Mina
Diana Mack:
Sir Malcom kills Mina for good, saying he already has a daughter, referring to Vanessa.

TEEN WOLF, "117", June 30, 2014, Actors: Linden Ashby, Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, The Scene: Sheriff asks Stiles and Scott about time travel
Justyna Kubica:
Easily the best scene of the episode! Really missed you, Sheriff. First of all, one of my favorite things about the show is the way the parents' characters are written and involved in the story. Especially since they found out about the whole supernatural aspect of the world they live in. And Sheriff's reactions usually tend to be the funniest/best (guess it's a family thing). I love how he came up with his own theory of the Young Derek mystery: time travel! Nice one. And seeing him freak out like that, and the entire conversation between him and Stiles was absolutely hilarious, and memorable! Those two should definitely have more scenes together, they usually end up being quite fantastic. Kudos to the cast & crew! Can't wait for more.
A Dahne: This is the funniest scene I have seen all summer long. I love how it starts with him looking from Teen Derek to Adult Derek's mug shot back and forth to him seeing Scott and Stiles to his flat out refusal to deal with any time travel shenanigans. Big kudos for such great reaction shots.

THE LAST SHIP, "Welcome to Gitmo", June 29, 2014, Actors: Eric Dane, John Pyper-Ferguson and more
The Scene: The food warehouse stand off
A Dahne:
The Last Ship is my favorite new summer show. It does action and tension very well. I loved everything about breaking into the warehouse (excpet the Al-Qaida connection) but the most tense moment of the night was when Tex was held hostage. I love how forceful Tom is and I am really happy to have Tex added to the crew.

THE LEFTOVERS, "Pilot", June 29, 2014, Actors: Justin Theroux and more
The Scenes: The GRs get attacked at the Hero's Day Parade (picked by DarkUFO) & The opening scene (picked by Sharon Seymour)

THE NIGHT SHIFT, "Coming Home", July 1, 2014, Actors: Brendan Fehr, Jeananne Goossen
The Scene: Drew breaks down about feeling helpless
A Dahne:
There is a lot I can't stand about The Night Shift and I was about to drop it until this episode with 2 brilliant scenes. Krista breaking down over the death of the soldier was tragic. However I chose the moment Drew broke instead because he is such a private person and to get to the point where he could not take it anymore and just needed a friend was painful yet beautiful. Truly well done scene.

TRUE BLOOD, "I Found You", June 29, 2014, Actors: Alexander Skarsgård, Kristin Bauer van Straten
The Scene: Pam finds Eric in France (picked by Diana Mack)

UNDER THE DOME, "Heads Will Roll", June 30, 2014, Actors: Britt Robertson, Natalie Martinez and more
The Scenes: Linda gets killed & The Kitchen scene & Angie gets killed

Daniel van der Veer: As soon as Angie walked out of the dinner, I expected her death. But I didn't know it would be a gruesome death. It looked like it came right from a horror movie. Great way to end the premiere, and it will be interesting to find out who actually killed her.
DarkUFO: The Kitchen scene with all the metalic objects flying around. Bradley Adams: Linda gets killed. Also picked by Sharon Seymour

UNFORGERTTABLE, "New Hundred", June 29, 2014, Actors: Poppy Montgomery, Dylan Walsh
The Scene: Al threatens to arrest Carrie
Bradley Adams:
Al threatens to arrest Carrie if she doesn't burn the pile of fake money she took.
