  1. This was hands down the best episode of the season. When True Blood goes all out crazy and has a sense of humor it is always a good time.

One of the most complete episode in three seasons!

  3. I agree it was the best episode so far this season. It was good to see Hoyt and that he's moved on and is living his life. I hope Arlene can remember the encounter she had with Terry when she almost died. Maybe Arlene can find some peace by seeing him so happy and handsome in the after life. I do get the feeling Arlene's vision of Terry really did happen judging by Sookie's reaction when she was reading Arlene's thoughts. So Fangtasia was Ginger's idea. Who would have thought it. I get the impression Ginger was an intelligent woman, but lost a bit of her intellect by being glamoured so many times. Glad to see the Hep V story is done. Whatever the next story is, this show is going to have to tell it quickly if there is to be resolution in the True Blood universe.

  4. Just finished watching. F**king A! You know it's the end of a series when they start showing a shitload of Flashbacks!! This was THE BEST EPISODE since s7 started. Hell it was the best episode in a longgggg f**king time!! Omg it felt soooo good to see Ginger at the beginning, telling her story, it was sooo cute!! She was this bubbly little thing so full of life and fun. Aww and wowww Pam really took her idea....that was F up! Like Eric said, "What a bitch" but it was hilarious the way he said it. I love their scenes. That "You still love me?" "always." My heart ached.

I was sooo happy to see Hoyt and Terry. I teared when i saw Terry (damn i miss him he wasthe sweetest) and when i feared Arlene was about to die. That whole scene was amazing. I'm so glad Arlene survived. As well as Jessica!! She can't die on me i'll cry my eyes out. Bill saving her at the last minute. I had a sigh of relief. Also loved the scene with her and Lafayette. Was good to see him dressed, out of the house!! God he needed something to do and if that first thing was saving Jessica then i'm not complaining.

Saving the best for last. Eric and Sookie! Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse! Freaking SOORIC!!! I swear these two will be the death of me. Omg i think my heart dropped through that whole thing. That was the first REAL moment they've had SINCE Eric signed her back her house. WTF (i was soo pissed about that) that was WORTH the wait and i would loveee to see more. These two, they have it period. And no one can convince me otherwise. Their reunion was bittersweet, and she's soo honest with him it's terrible. I couldn't wait til she put her guard down for this episode (she was bugging me throughout tbh) and all it took was one visit from Eric (unexpected i might add) and she just let it all down. Him telling her everything, him playing with her hair, her arms wrapped around him...it was truly beautiful.

And FINALLY (even though it was a plan) i've heard the words i've been waiting for, for 7 years....I'M HIS. Sookie has always denied that with Eric, and now just to hear it out her mouth, with him by her side, that was just music to my ears. I've missed them, and the look of exchange of "thank you" Ugh..be still my heart. I will enjoy their moments til the show ends and if they don't have another scene together before the show ends, then this one i was satisfied with. It wasn't too much, it wasn't forced, it was very natural. And quite frankly, a lot more than i was expecting.

  5. the flashback of Eric and Pam arriving in Shreveport was enough to get me to actually comment today. LOL Talk about punishment (plus a little foreshadowing about the tunnel.) And THE HAIR! Eric's HAIR! lol And Ginger not only had a brain...she created Fangtasia. Loved the moments we got with characters no longer on the canvas. Nice way bring them back and let them be part of the final season.

Everything else about the ep worked for me. Even Jason being dumb enough to tell Rosie their plans and the fact that the hostages were at Fangtasia. But it was a pretty good escape plan. Was worried that the rescue story was going to last longer. Glad it didn't. Loved Lafayette helping Jessica. Lots of really good character stuff. I'm still kind of thinking that Alcide might not be really dead (I thought they were using wooden bullets.)

Best episode of season 7. Last 20 minutes were like "fu*k" yeah!
HOPE they keep on this high track for the 6 last episodes.

I could watch a entire season of Eric and Pam through the decades, the hair/wardrobe is so much fun.

  9. I Don't Think The Hep V Story Is Done Their Are Still Many More Hep V's Out There, Just Depends If They Come To Bon Temps.

  10. This is getting to be a lot of fun-- having familiar past faces included and some of that old True Blood style humor injected. Loved the scene between Jessica and Lafayette, two of my favorite characters. The final episodes just might wind up being very satisfying.

  11. Talk about a turn around. For the past few weeks, the poll results have been bad for True Blood, with the awful vote being the majority. This episode was way, way better than the last 3. It's nice to see this show have awesome as the majority vote at least once this season.

  14. It's actually Mr. Gus (my bad). He's is a character most likely apart of or associated with the Japanese corporation that made the True Blood that was sponsored by The Authority. (An Enemy of Eric's)

    **** Casting SPOILERS*******

His casting call said he was an ancient Japanese Vampire, but for some time he has resided and taken on a very Texas persona. He will be played by Will Yun Lee (Hawaii Five-0, The Wolverine) and is said to be an antagonist.

The Texas part also makes me suspect that there's a connection to Sarah Newlin as well not just because the Japanese group is looking for her, but also because other characters not yet introduced that relate to her story should in theory reside in Texas too.

  15. After 3 poor epsodes (I was begining to loose faith in this show) we finally get a good one.
Loved Eric and Pam and the back story of Fangtasia with Ginger
Loved Eric and Sookie moments. As much as I like them as a couple in the books the actors on screen coupling always looked awkward and so never really worked. What we saw in this episode was definite love and affection between the characters in a way that worked far better than the naked romping we got in season 4.
    Liked strong Sookie
Loved Pam - she is always good, but was particulalrly on form in this episode.

  16. Anyone else think James's old actor left because he didn't agree with
James and Lafayette getting so close and James and Jessica's
    relationship falling apart?

  17. To be fair to Jason, SAM was the one who mentioned Fangtastia to Rosie first.

  18. You're right. ;-)

  19. put off watching the ep til just now and gotta say that this was easily the most satisfying ep in some time and the best of this short season by a mile.... every plotline worked for me tonight and loved seeing Hoyt once again, but the gem of the ep was the flashbacks of Pam/Eric and the loads of development we got with them and Ginger! I truly hope that they can keep this kind of pace for the rest of the season. I figure that the HV vamps will still something of an issue, but it appears that mercifully the annoying Bon Temp hate squad seems to be no longer.....

  20. There's a rumor that LR's did pull out for that reason, but the PR people insist that he had other obligations. But what's weird is when the first spoilers came out for this season, Lafayette's love interest was said to be named "Drake", but much like James (especially the recasted actor) was described as a "James Morrison" like character, which we now more clearly now that James was turned in the 1970's and was a former Vietnam soldier...I just don't know why they went through all the effort, except to say that there must of been a conflict there.
