    I guess if the show was about anything else I would say the opener was a bit predictable, Ray answering to his calls and brushing his family aside. The mere fact that you know what the show is going to be like before going down that particular rabbit hole made it worth watching. Love the end scene when Ray goes into the bar with a bat.
