-I have never felt more respect for Fritz than before and I already loved his character. Please make a Fritz spinoff. -The whole Rusty being gay... I was hoping they'd keep it ambiguous for awhile, I felt Rusty needed more time to understand the abuses he had suffered. -Erick Avari is always great at playing characters with powerful emotions. -Very happy Dr. Joe is back. He was a great minor character for Rusty. -Yeah, Sykes's mystery man was kinda obvious very quickly. But I loved how it became a joke quickly.
IIRC the Fritz spinoff is currently in the works....okay I looked it up. It is not official but episode 7 is a heavy Fritz ep and people are speculating that it's a backdoor pilot for a Fritz ep.
I really liked the different format used for this episode. In addition to being a different way to tell the murder story this week it made it clear that Rusty has remained in therapy and is no longer fighting it. Couldn't help but smile when Rusty wondered if he was really that self centered. I really hope this means I get to see Malcolm Jamal Warner more frequently. :-) Loved his 'seriously?' reality check to Sykes about the unit knowing they were dating. If they didn't know when he walked into the room (3 guns!?!) they knew the moment he said "especially if Sykes goes with me" lol. I did like they way they handled Rusty's coming out. Rusty's story was one of the draws to the show for me and seeing him come face to face with the reality that his family simply accepts him was a real feel good moment for me. I was ROTFLMAO when he started Googling The Village People. These are the moments when I feel old. Anyone else watch their TV movie? :-D
Like Fritz as always and maybe I will like the possible spinoff better than Major Crimes. Been trying to hang in with MC but I was bored again. Didn't like Rusty telling murder of the week story at all. The Rusty story arc is just getting old and don't find it interesting at all. So disappointed they went with the now cliche gay story line, totally not intertested. Been done to death.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Rusty finally comes out. Good for him.
