Amazing episode. It was really confusing to me at first that we only followed one person in this episode, but I ended up being really glad that we did. Excellent acting and the plot was brilliant. I like that they are using the animals to tell the story (the pigeons in this episode, the dogs before).
Amazing episode. This is definitely a defining moment for the season thus far and hopefully a promise of more to come.
The writers are throwing in a lot of curveballs as to who and why 'the departed,' went - particularly showing that a lot of those who were 'raptured,' didn't perhaps deserve it due to their conduct.
The whole constantly smoking thing with the cult needs more explaining. Even as a smoker myself I still find it strange that people would view that as a way to 'purify,' themselves.
My interpretation of it is that they view what happened as proving living can be a bit pointless. Why waste your breath or try to stay healthy when you can just disappear like that? This is just my theory so of course people can completely disagree. They will hopefully explain them more as the series goes along. Like do they have a leader or founder? Is this just a local cult or is this national?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
A fantastic choice of words.
ReplyDeleteThis show is getting so amazingly good and the acting is top notch.

ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that wanted to knock the living daylights out of the guilty remnants at the end of the episode?
