very good ep that had some satisfying action bits. I'm glad that they didn't drag out the plot with the other scientist as a mole and his motivation for doing so. Even though they tried to explain it away, it was a big disbelief suspension with the "a bit of tin foil mimicking the radar signature of a destroyer" ploy as even though the foil might produce a radar contact, the ship would've shown up as a second radar contact once it moved away unless I missed something and the ship moved out of line of sight from the radar... in any event, I really enjoyed the ep
lol. i had d oposite reaction. i was so mad at him. he begged to go on d mission with her, he was the one who cudnt keep his emotions in check an almost fail the mission and STILL wants to say its her fault. lol wow
I have always enjoyed the actor who played the Russian Admiral. He did not disappoint here. Do people really follow a guy who kills one of his men to make a point? (Kudos to the captain to announcing that fact *in Russian* over the comms.) Cause really, when he tells me to trust him...I'm not gonna. I was a little surprised that they didn't try to pull the family off the ship. The escape was cool. A little annoyed with the guy ( can't remember his name) who almost tanked the entire mission because he doesn't trust his girlfriend to be able to do her job. This is an example of why I don't like it when fandoms push shows to put characters working together (both cops or both FBI agents or both NCIS agents ).
When they brought up the foil there a faint blink appearing on the radar next to their signature that the Russian Captain didn't notice. After the got the foil up and the crew on aboard that's when they started moving out.
I saw that part and that is what didn't make sense as the ship should've remained a blip on the radar screen unless: the ship is made of radar absorbing materials (which it's not) or was blocked from the radar's line of sight by a hill or something (which I don't recall being mentioned)... a little fuzzy in the writing, but it made for good tv
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteSo far, I think the show is going strong. Alot of tense moments. Wondering where it's all going from here.
ReplyDeleteI cracked up when that solider said "I love you - stay away from me".

ReplyDeleteLoved it! If they manage to keep the action and suspense at this level throughout the season i'll be very impressed!
ReplyDeleteWith you there. He begged to go so he could "protect" her. I wanted to smack him upside the head.
