I am more than okay with Annie taking the encryption key from Natasha. Annie had to remind Auggie more than once that the priority was the mission and his personal feelings were interfering with that goal. Annie trusted Auggie when he said he had to be honest with Natasha about the FBI not accepting the deal to clear her of the charges in exchange for the key. Auggie then told Annie he knew time was of the essence, would continue to talk to Natasha, and convince her to help. Auggie told Natasha the truth, then proceeded to sleep with her for the second time. There was no discussion on Auggie's part to convince Natasha to hand over the key. Time was up and Annie had no choice but to take the key herself. To Annie's credit, she found Natasha and told her Auggie's intent wasn't to deceive or distract her. Auggie should've handled himself far more professionally than he did. His actions would have blown the mission if Annie didn't take matters into her own hands. A mission that involves protecting fellow CIA operatives. At this point, Annie needs another handler because Auggie is proving not to be up to the task.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really don't like Annie going behind Auggie's back like that. And ew at him cheating on the Pink Power Ranger with Natasha.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode, though!
