I voted for Derek and Scott talking in the locker room. I also liked that bit when Liam said to Scott he could control himself "espcially if you're there". I really loved that scene with Malia & Lydia in the hall as well. And seeing Scott go totally alpha king on Violet was cool! Choosing one of these is always so difficult :(
If I had to pick as second. (grin) it would be that hint that Parrish may have a thing for Lydia. Okay, not a scene but it was a sit up and take notice moment for me.
Parrish cannot have a thing for Lydia, given that it would be statutory rape if they ever got together. It would be the end of any respect I have for him.
IIRC Lydia is 18. Now I have to look it up but I think she's the first one to turn 18. That said, my observing that he has feelings should not be construed to man that I think he would cross the line. He has always been an honorable character.
Kick-ass Alpha Scott facing Violet! YES! I was so frustrated he didn't go Alpha during the Lacrosse match or even during the last two episodes! :D Also I like all the scenes with Lydia talking with Malia or Kira. I really love how she seems to become a good friend and even a big sister for those two.
Even at 18, it is not alright for a police officer to have a fling with a high school student and even a hint of him thinking about her like that would turn me off him completely. If Lydia is 18, then Jeff has some major explaining to do on how she can still be a junior, especially when she's supposed to be a genius. I thought Allison is supposed to be a year older than all of them and she turned 17 in season 1, which apparently is just slightly under a year from the current episode. So Allison would be celebrating her 18th birthday in about a month maybe.
I love his expression to and how shocked she looks, like she thought it would be easy to take Scott down. Here's hoping that she doesn't escape before Sheriff gets there.
I was frustrated by Scott never using his alpha growl on Liam to calm him down but this kind of makes up for it. I am glad they are letting Scott go alpha finally. I also thought that all of Lydia's scenes had powerful moments in them this time too.
Please note I said "interested" not leering or lusting after. Given that we're in a landscape where fans look at male/female close friends and immediately want them sleeping together I should have been more clear.
i hadn't even considered them sleeping together. It's out of,what we know so far about, Parrish's character to cross that line. He is the kind of guy that's acutely aware of right and wrong and wouldn't make a move that he thought would hurt someone...especially someone he might think he could care about.
Exactly, which is why I have no idea why he never even tried it with Liam at Lydia's boathouse. I mean his roar turned Malia from coyote to human. It should have been powerful enough to cower Liam, a beta exactly one day old.
I guess I am used to having to people wanting characters together who have no business being together and I have seen way too many show runners cave to that. If Jeff Davis hooks them up, I will be up in arms. There will not be enough socks in the world to throw at my screen. :-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I am going with letting Scott actually be an alpha but Parrish on the list is a very close second.

ReplyDeleteIt is hard to choose when there are so many good ones to choose from this time.
ReplyDeletethat Alpha moment kicked ass!
ReplyDeleteI had to go with Scott Alphaing out.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick as second. (grin) it would be that hint that Parrish may have a thing for Lydia. Okay, not a scene but it was a sit up and take notice moment for me.
ReplyDeleteMust binge watch series faster!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree. I am hoping we get more of them.
ReplyDeleteAfter all my yelling at the TV when Scott didn't go alpha, I finally got to yell in excitement. Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes, you must. We need you to join the conversation.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the one when Violet tries to kill Scott but she can´t and he looks at her like saying, please, I´m an alpha, you can´t kill me with that :P
ReplyDeleteIIRC Lydia is 18. Now I have to look it up but I think she's the first one to turn 18. That said, my observing that he has feelings should not be construed to man that I think he would cross the line. He has always been an honorable character.

ReplyDelete1. Alpha Scott.
ReplyDelete2. Supernatural Parrish.
Least favorite: "We hunt those... who hunt us."
While I loved the acting, I really did not like the implications from Argent saying the old code either.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking "Here we go another time Scott gets beaten since becoming an alpha", so it made the seen even better when he easily toke her down.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting Argent to say his family's new code.
ReplyDeleteHe did the same thing with Issac, using like a alpha voice to calm him down.
ReplyDeleteyou're right I have lydia confused with Allison.

Exactly! I would have been really ticked if Scott had to be rescued from Violet and they totally surprised me when he was so kick butt himself.
ReplyDeleteExactly, which is why I have no idea why he never even tried it with Liam at Lydia's boathouse. I mean his roar turned Malia from coyote to human. It should have been powerful enough to cower Liam, a beta exactly one day old.
ReplyDeleteMe too, which is why it kind of concerns me that he did not. Please, please do not let him be the Benefactor.

ReplyDeleteIt's probably a little soon to be piling up the socks for throwing. I posed the question based on a glance. I may have read it completely wrong. :-D
ReplyDeleteI have learned to have socks at the ready for most shows. Any time someone doesn't use their so-called powers, there goes a sock. :-P
ReplyDeletehmmmm. if i could find my socks (they disappear) i'd consider adopting that policy. :-)
