During an interview at CBS's summer TV press tour party, Plageman revealed to Zap2it that Jamie Hector will be playing a new character in the CBS drama. Though he wouldn't specifically state the role Hector has to play, he did tease that the actor will be on the show "for a little bit" in a seemingly villainous capacity.
"He will be interacting with all our guys," Plageman says of Hector. "As HR and the Russians have been vanquished in the municipal storyline of the show, someone is going to step into that vacuum."
Plageman and his fellow showrunner Jonathan Nolan have already wrapped the Season 4 premiere, and Plageman jokes that "we've blown up a lot of things already." The new season will pick up about four to six weeks after the events of the Season 3 finale, but Plageman thinks viewers will be surprised by how easily some of the "Person of Interest" characters fit into this new world order.
