TVLine has learned that ABC’s Once Upon a Time has cast Fringe alum Georgina Haig in the plum Season 4 role of Queen Elsa of Arendelle — aka the chillin’ quasi-villain of filmdom’s Frozen.
I like this casting. Can Elizabeth Mitchell as least play Anna and Elsa's mom? Someone else? Make this happen! I'm missing her again now that Revolution is over.
I like this casting love her on Fringe miss that show but please put Elizabeth Mitchell as their mom or anyone just want her back on screen she can play the mom from Brave if they introduce they Brave characters as friends for Henry he needs friends Merida and her twin brothers
Is the show any good? Cause I am seriously thinking to start watching. She's so pretty she made the last season of fringe so much more fun watching xD.
I understand, that happens to me too. I have on my "to watch list" Orange is The New Black, Orphan Black, Breaking Bad, among MANY others. And I still have to finish with Nikita! (about to finish S2, man I never expected anything from this show!).
So yeah, just think about it sometime in the future if you have the time :)
The first season is excellent then it goes downhill incredible fast. The writing has been terrible since S2 and like others have said it can be very frustrating/repetitive/stupid.
If you enjoy certain characters no matter the storyline you will enjoy the show.
I don't really think you have to be a fan of fairyales to like OUAT. I have a friend who really dislikes the Disney animated movies (yeah, I also don't know why we're still friends ;P) but who loves the show. So that's possible.
Also, it's made by two of Lost's writers, but not by Lost's creators. You can definititely see Lost's influence in the way they use flashbacks. However, unlike Lost, most mysteries are solived within one season. The story isn't as complicated as Lost. It's pretty straightforward.
I think it's a good show, as long as one doesn't take it too seriously and as long as one keeps a distance from some of the heavy shippers. XD
Despite that story lines sometimes are a bit repetitive, what I love most about it is that it feels like Bad Robot characters that I know and love, even though it's not a Bad Robot work (but it sure alludes to LOST and Fringe a lot!!!!!! :P )
Well, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis run the show and they weren't really behind the final season of Lost (those were Damon Lindelof who is now busy with The Leftovers and Carlton Cuse who is doing Bates Motel). So I think the Lost comparison is unfair, besides the plot are widely different. I'm not the biggest Disney fan, but I certainly enjoy watching those fairly tale characters on the show, I like to see what spin these guys come up to, sometimes great, sometimes not so great, but usually it is always fun to watch for me
I just recently started watching Breaking Bad and it somehow doesn't suits me but now I'll take a break and will try it out again. OB is on my to watch list as well and I'm rewatching GoT trying to fall in love with it. And after I done that College and the new season will start again. Painfull! But I'll put Fringe on my to do list for sure.
If you love show where vilains win over hero you'll love. Me I loved before they sacrified the more heroic character for a ship. I'm not interesting to see once-upon-a-time show.
When i read ppl saying they never watched Fringe i feel like opening a portal to my computer and then go through and smack every persons face who did not watch the Greatest Show on Fox lol
I know, I watch sleepy Hollow, but I wasn't naming these people to be regulars necessarily, but even just potential guest stars or reoccurring characters would be fun IMO. Plus I wasn't limiting the time, I would think ONCE could get 5 or 6 seasons...
I usually go for serious too, but I like the cast/characters and the writers quite a bit and once in while there is a stellar episode, but I don't blame anyone who may put this lower on the list...I just happened to watch from the beginning, but I still need to catch up on things like Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Longmare, and maybe even the Walking Dead one of these years! :D
I understand that. God knows, I've watched my fair share of shows that I am not particularly proud of xD because I've watched them from the beginning. It's difficult to stop despite the ups and downs once you get hooked, even just a bit.
Seriously there are tons of stuff I still haven't watched from this season. And now my eye has caught some interesting new ones. Usually I let them stack up. Kinda enjoy them more this way.
BB is good. Not anything groundbreaking like many will have you believe. Just a good drama series which it will be fun watching. The WD is basically the same old struggle for survival into a zombie apocalypse. Honestly, that gets tedious and repetitive for me, and that drama which is about characters development, sometimes it gets on my nerves.. It's a little overhyped IMO, but still fun to watch, from time to time xD
Ya, I stood away from The Walking Dead simply because zombie-culture doesn't usually interest me, but it seems like a fun show! BB I'm sure I would enjoy and I'm kind of interested in watching the Saul spin off, so I will probably try watch that in the next couple of months! There is just SO much on TV this year, it's nuts! XD
I just Froze during "Hi Dad". I can't wait to see her as Elsa even though I don't know a thing about her actress and I have GOT to watch Frozen beyond the trial of Elsa.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I never watched Fringe so I've no idea what she's like.
ReplyDeleteHenrietta :)
ReplyDeleteFirst she was Etta now she's Elsa. 500% more excited now!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like this casting. Can Elizabeth Mitchell as least play Anna and Elsa's mom? Someone else? Make this happen! I'm missing her again now that Revolution is over.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic news
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! Unbelievable! Perfect! Absolutely perfect! Get John Noble as big baddie in S4B now!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately he's busy with Sleepy Hollow now that he's been promoted to series regular
ReplyDeleteWho the F is she? NEVER SAW her before. .
ReplyDeletehmmm congrats to the actress, but I'm sad Clair or Blake didn't pull through.
I know lol. One can hope. I love SH as well.
ReplyDeleteETTA!! good casting choice,oh I miss FRINGE so much :(
ReplyDeleteIf y'll haven't seen her, I guess i's time to start one of the best sci-fi show ever "FRINGE".
ReplyDeleteI was expecting to be thrilled reading about Elsa's casting, but huh. I don't know her and I hope she'll be perfect.
ReplyDeleteShe was Joshua Jackson and Anna Torv's daughter on Fringe.
ReplyDeleteShould have asked this woman to do it:

I AM SO PLEASED. Such a good actress!
ReplyDeleteI've watched this and I cried again. :'( Oh, how I miss them....
ReplyDeleteMe too! I wish we would of had another season!
ReplyDeleteTrust me, this casting is totally not underwhelming. She's fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBaby girl!
ReplyDeleteMe Three! ....Ya,we really did need another season...dammit!
ReplyDeleteOh the memories!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news. Can't wait to see Etta again,
ReplyDeleteShe confirmed that she auditioned, but I guess she wasn't cast.
ReplyDeleteI like this casting love her on Fringe miss that show but please put Elizabeth Mitchell as their mom or anyone just want her back on screen she can play the mom from Brave if they introduce they Brave characters as friends for Henry he needs friends Merida and her twin brothers
ReplyDelete.....Who?
ReplyDeleteNot the best idea
ReplyDeleteHELL YEAH!
ReplyDeleteCruella de Vil :D
ReplyDeleteDidn't even think about her but she`s a great pick!
ReplyDeleteIs the show any good? Cause I am seriously thinking to start watching. She's so pretty she made the last season of fringe so much more fun watching xD.
ReplyDeleteGood for her. She was amazing in Fringe. But not even this casting can make me watch the show again.
ReplyDeleteYEEEESSS!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's such an amazing actress! Loved her as Etta and I can't wait to see her as Elsa :D
She did an outstanding work on Fringe. Watch that show, it's worth it ;)
ReplyDeleteOUAT is a very entertaining show, but it can be frustrating at times. Most of the times though, I have a blast at it, it's a very fun show to watch
ReplyDeleteI recomend you to watch the show, especially since you like The 100, I think you will love Fringe :D
ReplyDeleteI had different expectations, that is why it felt underwhelming to me. Watched some scenes of her in Fringe today.and she was solid.
ReplyDeleteI have no time to watch any more shows. Sadly. Can't keep up with those I'm currently watching. I hope she stunts me as well in her portrayal of Elsa!
ReplyDeleteWhy did you do this to us? I cried my eyes out :'(
ReplyDeleteOr at least a movie!
ReplyDeleteYou really should, trust me you won't regret it. FRINGE is one of the best sci-fi shows ever!
ReplyDeleteI understand, that happens to me too. I have on my "to watch list" Orange is The New Black, Orphan Black, Breaking Bad, among MANY others. And I still have to finish with Nikita! (about to finish S2, man I never expected anything from this show!).
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, just think about it sometime in the future if you have the time :)
I still want that movie though!
ReplyDeleteahhh one of the best news ever I miss her on my TV so much
ReplyDeleteI didn't do anything, but provide a video. You pushed play and she "acted". (The point was to show how good she is)
ReplyDeleteEtta! I really liked her on Fringe so I look forward to seeing her on OUaT.
ReplyDeleteThe first season is excellent then it goes downhill incredible fast. The writing has been terrible since S2 and like others have said it can be very frustrating/repetitive/stupid.

She was great on Fringe, looking forward to her on QUAT now!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! So excited for the trio they have cast! Can't wait for this season! =D
ReplyDeleteΙ've never been a shipper, but I do tend (sometimes) to take things somewhat more serious than I probably should as you're probably already aware xD..
ReplyDeleteAfter all the responses, I'll add it to my very long list of shows I wanna watch. Somewhere near the bottom though :D..
good choice
ReplyDeleteIf you love show where vilains win over hero you'll love. Me I loved before they sacrified the more heroic character for a ship. I'm not interesting to see once-upon-a-time show.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%...Maybe HBO will pick them up!
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble is busy being evil on SH. Terry is taking gangs down.Rachel is currently fighting to return to her own timeline.
ReplyDeleteWhen i read ppl saying they never watched Fringe i feel like opening a portal to my computer and then go through and smack every persons face who did not watch the Greatest Show on Fox lol

ReplyDeleteEtta!!!!

She is a great actress i loved ehr on fringe till she died :(
ReplyDeleteA Fringe cast member! YES! I liked her as Etta, and am looking forward to seeing her on Once Upon a Time as Elsa now.
