Jessica Biel is (briefly) returning to her TV roots this fall via a guest stint on New Girl, TVLine has learned.

The 7th Heaven alum will appear in the Fox comedy’s Season 4 premiere as Kat, the hottest scientist in the world who ends up competing with Zooey Deschanel’s Jess over a cute guy.
