We expected a high volume of comic related film announcements this week, and here’s the opening salvo: Columbia Pictures has just announced that the next part of the Spider-Man film saga, Sinister Six will open on November 11, 2016. The film is written and directed by Drew Goddard.
Amazing Spider-Man 3 will follow on an as-yet unspecified date in 2018.
The company has also announced a June 10, 2016 date for Uncharted, based on the popular Sony Playstation game.

4 years until ASM 3, thats a massive gap.
ReplyDeleteI'm stoked for Uncharted! Movie gods, please don't screw this up.
ReplyDeleteThe ASM3 is a joke, right? I mean, 4 years from now it's crazy! 2 it's the standard time, 3 would
ReplyDeleteAndrew Garfield will be a bit old to play a 20 something spiderman.......plus maybe this mean a new director/writer
ReplyDeleteSo Sinister 6 is still happening. I think it's going to flop. It's not good that the amazing spider man 3 is coming in 4 years.
ReplyDeleteWell, fml. Now we have to wait 4 years for The Amazing Spider-Man 3? I hope it flops hard. F**K Sony.
ReplyDeleteDon't read to much Spiderman so I dont really know to much about the Sinister Six but I'm wanting and was hoping to see ASM3 a little sooner then four years from now.
ReplyDeleteHe will be 35!
ReplyDeleteThere has to be a time jump.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to watch Thor:DW and CATWS and two ASM movies lol
ReplyDeleteEither Sinister Six or ASM3 (more likely ASM3 with such a gap) will fall even shorter on their box office expectation and Sony will decide to sell back the rights to Marvel. Not really hoping for this, since they've got enough on their plate already, but if it doesn't do better than ASM2 then it's more than likely.
