MOVIES: The Ring 3 in development with a director attached

Paramount is gearing up for a third installment in The Ring franchise, tapping F. Javier Gutierrez to direct.

There's been talk of a third film for several years, and Paramount has been eyeing a 3D threequel back in 2010.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing the third film.
