Are they kidding?
ReplyDeleteNo way my only issue is its 3 years away I can't wait that long!!!
ReplyDeleteIt has been in the pipeline for a while with several re-writes and the release date changing.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually a POTC fan and I suspected the idea was to do another trilogy once they did a pseudo-reset with OST.
Although it seems unlikely with Keira Knightley's latest comments on the matter in actually seeing what I propose, if you look at the situations presented with Will Turner being left as the Captain of the Flying Dutchman, separated from his son and wife, with the responsibility to "ferry the souls of the dead" to the other side and the fact that there is young clergy-boy named Philip who is in love with a Mermaid, I think it's easy to see a future plot in which those two characters need to switch places....
The title of this one is also "Dead Man Tell No Tales" and the idea is allegedly to go back to more of a "ghost" storylike the first film, rather than deal with something like a Kragen. r However, early reports claim that it would feature the Trdant of Posiden which is featured in The Jack Sparrow junior novelizations other reports include taking place in New Orlenes with potentially Christopher Waltz and Rebecca Hall in talks for roles....
Thank you for taking your time to explain it to me. That was very kind.
ReplyDeleteReminds me that I still haven't watched the fourth one....
ReplyDeleteToo much time :( I hope it will worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteAn advice I wish was given to me: Don't bother.
ReplyDeleteOh really? I really like the first 3 but then I don't know, I just didn't want to see the 4th one... I guess I was right not to.. :) Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteim a fan of christopher waltz period. Love that dude in Everything he does xD
ReplyDeleteMega facepalm!! Unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteThe fourth one is almost like a reset in some sense, but I think it's worth it to get a bit into Jack's past, see Barbarossa play a different side for a while, get to see another new side-love-story (which IMO seems to be a perfect puzzle piece to the situation of the former one) and it's also fun to see Seth Graham in a comic relief role, -oh, and the actor Robbie Kay who played Peter Pan on OUAT last season, has a small role as a cabin boy and there's mermaids too!
ReplyDeleteI actually really liked the fourth one! It's in the eye of the beholder mate, watch it and make your own decision. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this, love the Pirates movies.
ReplyDeleteRobbie Kay? That's interesting! From what you said, it looks really entertaining! I think I'll check it out this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYep, some people like it and some people just don't... I'll definitely watch it!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the first three movies but the fourth was mediocre. It's like they didn't even try. I hope this one is better but they need stronger secondary characters. Jack Sparrow can't carry the whole movie alone.
