In his presentation Thursday he showed off the new trailer, which offered a little more insight into what lies beyond for moviegoers when Interstellar hits theaters November 7.
The new footage — which won’t be released publicly until much later — certainly had its enigmatic moments, but it also offered a few more clues about the plot. It turns out that what these particular astronauts are looking for is another Earth, a habitable planet where human life can thrive again. “We used to look up at the sky and wonder about our place in the stars,” McConaughey’s character says. “Now, we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt.”

This is my most anticipated movie.
ReplyDeleteAnyone's gotta YouTube link? That springboard crap never works fine with me =/
ReplyDeleteI just updated it, with a YouTube link :)
ReplyDeleteI updated the page with a YouTube link, pretty hard to find though.
ReplyDeleteBut... it's the same trailer that premiered like 2 months ago in cinemas. Or maybe I dont see some REALLY tiny changes?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! Will be seeing this one in the theater!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteThe trailer on the EW site is the existing theatrical trailer released several months ago. The comic con trailer isn't online anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI agree this trailer is not new.
ReplyDeleteLoved that Nolan and McConaughey surprised the fans at Comic Con, seems like they went over very well.
ReplyDeletewow!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem like a new trailer to me. The EW article literally says : "The new footage — which won’t be released publicly until much later", so getting a clean version that's not filmed by a cellphone should have been a sign it wasn't legit. They didn't have much else to say other than it is secret but it was awesome, so they posted the trailer again perhaps to fill space in that two-page article.
ReplyDeleteThe director of The Dark Knight Trilogy has never been to Comic-Con. It's always so weird when you realize this, lol.
ReplyDeleteSo far, Interstellar has both sound and looked amazing. I hope the final product is and doesn't become the total opposite like Transcedence ended up being. It's pretty cool, too, that Nolan is a fan of science fiction, but I'm glad he didn't go down that certain path with his Batman trilogy. It will always remain special because of its root in a more grounded reality, even if it's heightened to the furthest extreme.
