Building on WGN America's increasing momentum as a destination for distinctive programming, the multi-channel premiere of the network's critically acclaimed original series "Manhattan" amassed 1.8 Million Total Viewers, 609,000 Adults 25-54 and 459,000 Adults 18-49, across WGN America (9 p.m., 10:10 p.m., 12:00 a.m. ET) and on Tribune’s 14 metered market local stations.
The premiere telecast aired in all of Tribune's 33 markets; however, the remaining 19 markets do not receive daily demographic data.
The "Manhattan" premiere telecast, running 70 minutes with commercials, on WGN America at 9 p.m., attracted 904,000 Total Viewers, 331,000 Adults 25-54 and 233,000 Adults 18-49, more than tripling network's season-to date average among Total Viewers on Sundays at 9 p.m. (300,000). The premiere telecast also ranks as WGN America’s second highest performance among Total Viewers year-to-date.
The series debut of “Manhattan” on WGN America drew 1.4 Million Total Viewers, 448,000 Adults 25-54 and 326,000 Adults 18-49, during three combined airings.
WGN America covers 61.7% of the U.S. and is available in 71.4 million homes and has only a single feed, making for an early West Coast premiere at 6 p.m. PT.
We expect “Manhattan’s” performance to significantly increase with time-shifted viewing.
