HIMYM boss Carter Bays has rebuffed a TVLine report that said the pilot, which CBS passed on in May, was being redeveloped for the 2015-16 season with a new cast because Bays and co-creatorCraig Thomas were heavily invested in continuing the franchise. ReplyDeleteGood riddance! Let new writers and new talent take over, enough with rehashing the same thing, especially if that thing is most likely going to end with a dead father
ReplyDeleteGood riddance. However, I'm having trouble believing someone like Carter Bays, whom has lied about the shows' direction and the finale over the years in interviews. I wouldn't be surprised even a bit if he was just saying this so that the media coverage ceases and they can work on it under the radar so as to not attract any more criticism from fans.
