Dig out your snow boots and dust off your parka, Channel 4 is heading back to Fargo for a second season of the multiple Emmy®-nominated miniseries from MGM Television and FX Productions.

Season two of Fargo will feature a fresh cast of characters, a different time period and a gripping new ‘true crime’ story that will unfold over the course of the 10-part series.

The return of the series to all things “Minnesota nice” follows Fargo’s recent success with a total of 18 Emmy® nominations, including Outstanding Miniseries; Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries or Movie for Executive Producer Noah Hawley; Outstanding Lead Actor nominations for Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman; Outstanding Supporting Actor for Colin Hanks; Outstanding Supporting Actress for newcomer Allison Tolman, and two Outstanding Directing nominations - one for Adam Bernstein and one for Colin Bucksey.

The first season of Fargo attracted critical acclaim, winning a Critics Choice Award for Best Miniseries, and an average audience of 2 million viewers (8% share) across its 10 episodes on Channel 4.

Fargo is written by Noah Hawley. Hawley, Joel & Ethan Coen, and Warren Littlefield serve as executive producers. Fargo is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions for the FX Network in the U.S., with MGM Television acting as the lead studio and worldwide distributor of the series.

Fargo is currently set to start filming in January 2015.
