Please note: English is not my first language.

I felt that I enjoyed to write a review based on my feelings/thoughts than doing a recap/review, so this time I will doing the same and it's another double review. So I'll hope that you guys will stay with me the whole way. I also love to talk about this and discuss it with you. Do you feel I'm wrong in my feelings/thoughts? Please comment. Agree? Comment! Hate it? Comment again!

Valentina continues to be the girl who has everything out of control. With the other ladies, if something happened to them, they do everything to seize the situation or turn it the other way around. If a problem befall Valentina, she acts like a deer looking into headlights. But perhaps, that's it because she's young. Lucky for her and for us, she has Remy and her parents. It must be really awkward for Paolo to come fetch his (ex?)-wife by her lover(boyfriend?) and have Zoila going off on him, thinking he is exerting some control. Javier managed to be cordial here. Zoila seemed to be on cloud nine until Paolo tells that Valentina is in jail. She snaps back into parent mode and they go to fetch Valentina. Zoila continues to gently push Val to see the errors of her way. Can I say that I've come to love Zoila lately? At first she was spouting sarcastic remarks and about how she works hard. But as the episode by episode continues to peel off her outer layers, we see a mother who wants everything for her friends and mostly for her daughter. With that in mind, Paolo tells Val about his errors way back then in jail. This is falling out of the sky for me because Paolo wasn't in the storylines lately. Didn't really care for it but it was nice to see a raw, honest moment between Val and her parents. Too bad Ethan is already gone from the house, otherwise I'm sure that Paolo would beat the crap out of him. This also brings Zoila and Paolo closer than before. I think it's still too soon for Zoila and Paolo to get back together. Zoila just need to get off the leash for a little while. Find herself back before she goes back. I really like Zoila and Javier together but the husband card has always the upper hand when it comes to the love card game.

Grade: B+

Ethan barely can't escape his own problems, and he already got swooped into the next one. That one from Marisol although he really came on a good time for Marisol. Marisol discovered via the security footage that it was Opal who had run down Nicholas. This is too lame because the detectives didn't see or ask for the whole footage. Just asked for which time Nicholas had left the manor. Opal works there for more than fifteen years (I think) and she couldn't think of that cam outside the gate? If I knew my house that good and I was looking for revenge, I would at least disappear my traces after I did it. Presumable Opal did it out of rage and couldn't think all the way. But as she killed Dahlia earlier, wouldn't she have had learned from her mistakes? Marisol, really dumb, calls Opal and wants to clear the air (sorta). Didn't she think to have some precautions. I was almost expecting that she would have had SWAT police hidden in the house and that when Opal confessed it, the police would come out of hiding and point lasers on her chest like Laurel did on Oliver in Arrow. No, it's just Ethan. He's really an asshole. He would hate it if someone told on him but he just did it with his mother. At least this storyline is over when Marisol wants to call the police. Marisol continues to be dumb and place the gun on the kitchen counter and goes further to call the police, letting the gun out of the sight. I thought that Opal would shoot her in the back but kills herself. Can't say I'm sorry. I hope that Ethan is really gone, paving the way free for Marisol with Nicholas(still wondering about Nicholas having killed someone) and for Val to return to Remy.

Grade: A- (I would have given an A or A plus if Marisol wasn't so dumb)

Carmen still has problems with Spence continuing to drink. I really miss Odessa by the way. She sure would have some heavy sober-up drink ready for Spence to drink. This goes out of control because Spence didn't show up for work. Carmen calls Rosie to have some sort of intervention. I knew that Rosie's words would make Spence listen. Nothing to comment on this. Just an ok storyline, or merely a filler. At least Tyler is still out of the way (YES).

Grade: D

Adrian continues to research Tony. As it turns out, he's really an con artist looking for money. Tony would have everything filmed and let it look like that Evelyn pushed on him. Adrian gets on the good grace by me as he gently tells Tony that he knows everything and wants him out. Instead of Tony breaking her heart by revealing he's a con artist, Adrian wants him to tell Evelyn that he has another job opportunity for some money. Sure, Adrian has his faults but he really loves Evelyn and will protect her no matter the cost. But who was that someone that beat Tony at the ATM? Adrian's minion? Or just a robber? Or someone else looking for revenge? Who knows. I have to say that this storyline had a great, promising start but quickly fizzled out with a sizzle. I hoped that it would burst like a volcano. Hell, make it like a few housewives come for revenge or something like that.

Grade: B (For Adrian being the hero)

Reggie continues to be slimy. Rosie continues to be too naive here. I know he has some control over her with immigration rights being revoked if she does something. But would you give up your life for another live? If Rosie goes back, would life be really bad for her? Worser than what Mr. Kenneth goes through? Granted, he had some big wrongdoings in his life but would that give you the right to leave him where he is? I would call Lucinda and Didi and join forces.

Grade: F

Notes:
- Best storyline goes to: Marisol. Worst goes to Rosie. No change from last week. Although Valentina's is going to come closer.
- Snappy oneliner of the week: Still nothing.
- Opal being dead, happy or sad?
- Still thinking about Nicholas having killed Barrett Powell (had to look up his name).

Since I wrote the last review before actually watching the latest episode, I was surprised how much of my thoughts/suggestions actually came true. It was an enjoyable episode! Even Tyler was sort of okay although I still hate him.

Oh Rosie. Way to fight back! Just as I thought she must call Didi and Lucinda to join forces, she really did. I personally thought that Miguel was adorable here when Rosie asked for his permission to fight a bad man even if it means they're going to be deported back to Mexico. I thought that it was a nice gesture for Rosie to ask since most mothers take these decisions themselves. Asking Miguel makes him feel appreciated. If they was in Mexico, Miguel can't hold any grudge for Rosie taking those decisions. Anyway, armed with Miguel's sword, Rosie calls Didi and Lucinda to tell them everything. When Rosie was leaving, I thought that Didi and Lucinda really didn't do anything. But it was all a trap. Even that new maid was an forensics accountant or something like that. How can you do that? I thought you needed a judge's warrant to do that. But maybe they did it via Kenneth's company. It was fun to see those girls marching in. I felt warmth when I saw Didi and Lucinda forgiving Kenneth because they're family. Together, they finally take down Reggie. If I was caught, I would change my attitude and say something like: I was so close. Not crawling and saying that this was a misunderstanding. Oh please. Off with you, Reggie.

Grade: A+

With Opal dead, Marisol further inquires Nicholas about his secret. Still he won't say it. If it was really a mistake and I still think it is, I would confess it to save the marriage. Marisol would maybe understand it. But with this, Nicholas damages the marriage more. Marisol goes to Opal's in hope to find something. What would she think that she was gonna find? A big folder with an X on it? Nicholas comes to the apartment too and finds Marisol there. Marisol asks again about his secret. Nicholas still won't confess it. Blegh. Man up and confess. But Marisol finds a key. Anyway, the landlady did. She finally finds out Nicholas secret in Opal's mini vault. I had to pause the scene to read what it was on that newspaper. Looks like that my theory about Barrett Powell came true. Is this going be like Desperate Housewives season 8, where we already knew the secret but see them keep it? Please, no. But I hope it will be not like Marisol just turn him in the next episode and then we're finished. I hope there's a bigger story.

Grade: B

Zoila wakes up and finds Paolo in her bed. They had not sex but MADE love last night. That cracked me up. Valentina thinks that it's Javier there back in the bedroom. Still funny. But really, Paolo? Did you think that everything was back to square one?? You're the one that betrayed her. Not funny anymore. Even telling to Val that you're back together with her mother. Please, no. I really understand Zoila. She had it good with Javier before all this. Do you go back to your ex with 20 years of history but a big wrongdoing, or a new guy that you just knew for few months but everything is so good? She didn't tell Javier. At least she almost told him before she knew that they were going to Paris. What a grand gesture. Javier is so cute. For now, I'm #TeamJavier. Even though I don't justify Zoila's cheating. She must have told him immediately. Zoila gets tested for a kidney for Genevieve. But Paolo thinks that he gets to be the knight in shining armor for Zoila if he gives his kidney to Genevieve. This made me not to go aww, but eeehhh. It made Paolo creepy for me.

Grade: C+ (Not good, but not bad either.)

It had me jumping for joy because Team Remy made it all way to the finish. Team Ethan had a great start but couldn't get over those obstacles. Remy and Valentina kissed like everything was back to normal. Too bad it wasn't a big scene with those cliché words: I'm sorry, you're right. You're always the one for me. Or something like that. But I'll take that! Tyler thinks that Valentina knows something and tries to get something out of her until she says that she already told the police everything. I think that Val doesn't know who the other accomplices was but just told about Ethan's part. And now Tyler wants to get rid of Valentina. That kid is seriously messed up. But he was at least more manageable here than when being lovestruck by Carmen. Yuck.

Grade: D

Carmen continues to be the light note of the episode and worries when Tucker is brought home from Europe. She doesn't want it before Peri's assistant tells her that if Spence wants Tucker for a week, she's going to have the custody arrangement annulled or something like that. No. No. Peri doesn't do that. That's too easy. But since Peri is a fame whore, who thinks. I thought that Carmen would already fail the audition. But she really nailed it. At least until Tucker cried and she didn't get the part for being a bad mother. In the end, there was a surprisingly touching scene between Rosie and Carmen because Rosie thinks Carmen will be great mother. Carmen won't be a mother because that meant she had to give up on her dream. Rosie says that it's not bad to see some dreams fail. Carmen feels her dream HAS to become true. Because if it doesn't, that does mean that Carmen has nothing. We saw the true Carmen here.

Grade: B- (just the end made the grade go higher).

Okay. I'm wondering what the season finale brings. I hope we're not getting a quick fizzle out of stories ending. Because the last season aftermaths was all about a picknick and Rosie getting deported. I hope they will let us and the characters pause at least 10 minutes or something before the next big storyline happens. Please not like finding out about the aftermaths in the next episode thereafter. That's what we got with Marisol's son with some lame comment that he's somewhere in school. If Rosie really gets deported, I will be sad for her, but it would make an interesting storyline if she had work in a Mexican environment, trying to get back to home. But that would separate her from the other ladies. By the way, what are you thinking that Adrian and Evelyn will do if they find out about Nicholas. And where's Tony?! Is he going to come back with a bigger demand because he didn't get the money? Reveal everything to Evelyn? Pair that together with the murder of Barrett and I think that we would see the ice exterior of Evelyn crumbling down, turning everything into lava.

What did you think of those two episodes? Please head to the comments!

Notes:
- Best storyline goes to: Rosie and the worst goes to: No one. The rest was all equal in my opinion.
- Snappy oneliner of the week goes to Didi: I was shocked, and I used to be a stripper.
- So many thoughts came true. Are the writers on a good way? Straight or up?
- Team Remy finally won the war. But it looks like we're going to have another war. Cause #TeamJavierFTW
- Thinking of a portmanteau for Valentina and Remy? Rina? Valmy? Ralentina. Nope, not gonna work. At least, Zavier works better than Zaolo.
- Still no photo caps. Maybe next week!
