Revealed today at A&E’s Comic-Con panel for Bates Motel is that season 3 will dive more into the story of Norma’s brother, Caleb, as Kenny Johnson is made a regular on the show. Also, executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin revealed that posh damsel in distress Bradley (Nicola Peltz) — aka the girl who Norman will do anything for — will be returning. “There’s a huge revelation for Norman as he realizes he can do these terrible things,” said Cuse. For the most part the EPs were tight-lipped about major storylines for season 3. Of note, we’ll learn more about Sheriff Romero’s backstory. The Bates Motel panel featured a couple of silly clips: an Arrested Development-like opening credits sequence for the series as well as a number of offbeat, unhinged auditions of the actors, which are to be featured on the season 2 DVD.

Just when I thought he was gone.
ReplyDeleteOh,this might be a deal breaker for me i never cared for this actor...
ReplyDeletei didn't like this actor and i didn't like the character but i hope season 3 is the best
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great because I felt like there was more story there to tell. It just felt too easy having Norman attempt to confront him, just for him to run off...could be really interesting if Bradley configures into his story line!
ReplyDeleteGlad we will get Ramero's back story! I just wonder if Michael Varten will be appearing at all again?
Great actor, meh character. Let's see how he'll play into things as we reappears. I'm definitely interested.
ReplyDeleteCaleb sure means trouble. I can't wait to know more about Romero.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the fact that Bradley is back. Her character was so annoying. Just keep her away from Dylan and keep Emma away from the Bradley/Norman mess. I don't mind Emma being friends with Norman but I don't want her to be the third wheel AGAIN.
OMG! I'm watching the spoof audition tapes! Nestor's, "I was in LOST" shirt, is THE BEST! :D
ReplyDeleteBummer. I think he's good in the role, but the character clearly has major problems!
ReplyDeleteBummer indeed! I'll play it by ear and see how it goes..
ReplyDeleteIs this available on YouTube?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but I watched it on EW, I think. I'll get you a link....
ReplyDeleteYep, EW:

Thanks so much, DarthLocke!
ReplyDeleteThat was hysterical!
It's good they will explore his side in more details,i was irrritated when they wrote his character out abruptly last season!! Though i would have liked him as recurring, not on a regular basis-then again,he is dylan's father,so i guess it was a natural progression for his character.
ReplyDeleteI knew we haven't seen the last of Norma's brother.
ReplyDeleteSure! I think it's one of my favorite things I have seen come out of comic con so far! XD
ReplyDeleteGAH! LOL at Nestor & Carlton! That was priceless..... One of the best videos to come out of SDCC,loved it!
ReplyDeleteContrary of most of you guys, I'm really glad to see this character back, I really like Dylan not just for Max but also because I really believe the character is a great plus to the story line between Norman and Norma, and how they got to the horrible point they're going to get, and I think Caleb has many more things to contribute to the story, I wanna know if he was also a victim of Norma's mental imbalance, I mean, I know he took advantage of her somehow, but how about if she provoked unconsciously just like she's doing it with Norman, I don't know, I'm just glad to have him back!!.
