    Oliver is clearly going to have a crisis about having a life while being a hero. This might be what makes him tell Diggle that he can't be in the field with a baby otw. Same reason he won't actually date Felicity. Felicity's flirting with Palmer might be her trying to get back at Oliver for trying to "protect her"..


    It feels a bit cheesy in the promo but it is just a promo.

    This years panel was kind of meh... Nothing new much other than what we heard in the interviews. I thought they will reveal Laurel's new love interest. Felicity flashback news is good. Don't know how to feel about "Oracle". They are still stealing Batman mythology. Why not give her a new monicker. Isn't she coming to GA comics. Or will they introduce Barbara Gordon in the episode?

    Re watched the trailer. I liked the energy of Ray Palmer. He looks like a smooth operator. Loved the Hong Kong flashbacks. The look is so good. Martial arts will be amazing this season with Asian artists. #daddy Diggle issues already. I am glad to see Oliver being more open to Felicity this season about his past. No Thea or Malcolm *sad:(*

    Ted Kord/Blue Beetle was mentioned in several episodes of both seasons of Arrow. He is the owner of Kord industries which the clock king hit to get that universal key. Arrow producers wanted to bring in Ted Kord as new owner of QC and Felicity's LI. But they were denied and so they went for Ray Palmer/Atom.


    Now Ted Grant/Wild Cat is a boxer turned hero who trained BC in the comics. Since Stephen posted a photo in a boxing ring everyone is expecting Ted Grant to come as the new person in Laurel's life and train her to be BC.


    Since they are mum on the issue who knows? The love intereset may come after few episodes maybe.

    Seriously they haven't said anything about her being called Oracle. Role wise yes, but that's to be expected given they can't use Gordon and her role on Team Arrow. Shouldn't jump to conclusions. They won't introduce Gordon thanks to Gotham and Fox.

    When he said it this past season i was so happy!! I missed that!! Like sometimes i use that. My friends have no idea what i'm talking about. (only few watch the show). And sometimes i'll use it to myself, like say if i'm making toast but i left it in too long and it gets burnt, i'll be all...."You have failed this breakfast." Ctfu!!

    Well Felicity is NOT dead. She's unconscious. Most likely from the bomb (or some type of explosion) from the date they were on. I'm assuming Oliver went to stop whoever, and pushed her out the way but she got hurt anyway, and he took her back to the lair. But she will wake up, b/c she says "still not the worst date i been on." So that's when he'll console her then when he takes her home, after fixing her up, then he'll have to pull away from her. Orrr he'll take her to the hospital also and she'll say that on the hospital bed. That's my theory.

    Waller pisses me off too. When she revealed to Dig that he was going to be a father, i thought that was so lame. Her standing there with two guns posing for like ten minutes with a serious face before she actually said it. Ugh, i wanted him to shoot her. lol

    Thanks for the reply. I don't understand why everyone is accusing me of jumping to conclusions. I am speculating on the spoilers given just like everyone else.:) I never said I wanted her to be Oracle. Already a part of Arrow fandom accuses Felicity as a Oracle knock off. They used this title for that episode so that mere mortals like us will sit and chat about it. I am sure I am not the only who had a thought like this...

    i don't even know where to start...this was SO good.!
    i can't get enough of oliver's goofy grin after he asked felicity out x3 i also love the fact that he tells her about China, i think that's a pretty big deal...
    aparently felicity is going to get hurt on their date and that's the reason why it's going to stay on that one date for now...
    i think we all expectet Oliver to say something about digg going on the field and he's reaction wasn't really a surprise either...that's going to be a intresting talk

    I hate it when writers rewrite their series and characters due to
    shipping. Arrow has literally turned into TVD, that show at least had
    two and a half good seasons while Arrow only had one! I mean look what
    happened on Once Upon a Time due to shipping. I honestly can't take
    writers seriously when they do fan pandering. And now it looks like The
    Walking Dead is following the same steps due to this Bethyl *beep* that
    came out of nowhere. Why can't writers simply have the balls and tell
    their original story? Like I get it that they listen to the fans, but to
    listen to them all of the time and give them every single thing that
    they demand? It's ridiculous.

    Barrowman was just in the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in Glasgow. I imagine he's been there for a little while rehearsing and stuff. It's a pretty big deal so I guess he would have been row paring for a while, which may have kept him out of the first couple of Arrow episodes.

    Since I was not much into DC comics before my only knowledge about Waller was what was shown in that Green Lantern movie. I think this Waller is so much better than that iteration.Cynthia Addai Robinson is a good actress. Maybe they will give her more compelling material to work with this season.

    I think this is what Andrew Kreisberg meant in that interview when he said Laurel and Oliver have a new kind of partnership where "he catches them, she cooks them" kind of thing. I think she prosecutes each and every villain Arrow catches and makes sure they are put away.

    I didn't read the comics either, so I'm not comparing this version of Waller to any other. I just feel like she's supposed to be scary and powerful and CAR's performance isn't conveying that. I have not seen her in Spartacus or anything else so perhaps she's better in other roles.

    "There's actually a line in the script where after you see what happens on the date, she even says, 'That was still not my worst date!'" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared with us at the CW's 2014 Summer TCA Party.

    If this is not her worst date I wonder who this girl was dating before she met our dudes.

    That's probably a good way to go about things - making Laurel an outside contact for the team, like Quentin. That way she finally gets a useful role but without interrupting the Team Arrow dynamic as some are worried about.

    I know its getting ridiculous, there was no uproar when other relationship were taking place. If the EP wants to try it out, let them. Its their show. And seems everything is fan pandering unless it takes place like in the comics.

    From what I saw on the promo my speculation is Ray will take complete control of QC with Oliver having no role. May be a board member. They will be at odds. But Ray will run QC better than Oliver. We know Ray is trying to develop something using QC applied science department which will come to a head by mid-season finale and from there on they will become friends. In between all this Ray will try to charm Felicity maybe for her assistance in his project... Is this all really far fetched?

    His suite is BADASS!!! I'm seriously looking forward to his scenes with Oliver!! I've been waiting for this, for a long time. Did you watch the panel? Stephen made a joke and i laughed so hard. Colton didn't see it coming. He goes, yeah now we have the second best suite in the house. LOL And then Colton replied, the suite is pretty badass, and everyone cheered. That was great.

    He Just Stood Out To Me I Don't Really Know For Sure If He Will Become One Of My Favourite Characters, He Just Seemed Like He Will. It Is Just Andrew Kreisberg Said At Comic-Con That He Wanted To Bring New Additions To The Cast To Stay On The Show He Said Like Faith In Buffy We Look Back And Couldn't Imagine The Show Before That Without Them.

    The problem here is they already introduced two out of the main three characters in BoP on Arrow. Jessica de Gouw as Huntress and Caity Lotz or Katie Cassidy as BC depends on how season 3 goes. Sadly all three of these actresses have not shown any excellent acting abilities. Also the backstories are tailored for OQ's journey not theirs. So that's another disadvantage.

    Also any BoP based on Arrow will be OQ ex club.

    I usually love to hate the villain, but in this case I can't. I think it's because I see Oliver being a pretty helpless situation when it comes to her. He doesn't do anything, for probably a secret reason we don't know yet, but she's mean to everyone in the meanwhile ... In that respect, she is a good character since she's truly fulfilling her purpose!!

    I consider Waller to be an out and out bad guy. Slade and Malcolm both had attachments to other people which made them kind of human even in their madness. Now Amanda is simply mission oriented. She just does not care who she kills to fulfill her goal. I like such villains too. Yes she goes after terrorists and bad guys but she is no less of a bad guy.

    What I don't understand is why would Amanda need Oliver to be her operative? She could recruit soldiers with more skill than Oliver with the snap of her hand. Is she making him pay for thwarting Fyers plan of bringing down the plane?

    Point. I don't really see what she gets out of Oliver so far. She must have something more than his secret identity to keep him in line. Was she involved with the plane thing? Was A.R.G.U.S. Fryers' client? They haven't told us who was yet right?

    We'll most likely get some answers with the Hong Kong flashbacks. Maybe she was in a fix while in Hong Kong and she got Oliver to her dirty work, and then she decided to keep him on as an ace in the hole. It's an intriguing relationship for sure...I still hate her though lol.

    SA said in an interview the woman in heels in season 1 was Amanda Waller and we will know why Fyers wanted to shoot down that plane very early on season 3 flashbacks.
    What I can't understand is unless Waller had need for an operative without knowledge of her superiors why on earth would she need Oliver in Hong Kong. At that time he hardly had 2 years training in fighting.

    I'm glad we at least have confirmation that Waller was Fyers' boss, I was worried that would be left unresolved. Although they should confirm it on-screen as well. Hopefully her connection to Fyers is mentioned in one of the Hong Kong flashbacks.


    I too am curious about the reason Waller "recruited" Oliver. The best I can come up with is that since he's believed dead, he makes a disposable operative, like the members of the Suicide Squad - if he gets killed on a mission, or if she has him killed once he's no longer useful, no one will ask any questions. But that alone isn't a sufficient answer. I'm guessing that Waller having been behind Fyers and then arranging for Oliver's capture isn't a coincidence, so hopefully we'll get some answers about how Oliver got on her radar.

    I would have understood Waller's agenda if it was Slade Wilson, Yao Fei or even Shado she was recruiting. They are all seasoned fighters and soldiers where as Oliver is a survivor with barely a year and a half training. He would be more of a hindrance than an asset. SA said we would be surprised by the blackmail Waller use to make Oliver comply to her mission. I am guessing something to do with his dad as Oliver said in season 1 he heard from his dad after he marooned in the island.

    In season 1 episode 11 trust but verify when Ted Gaynor's (Digg's commanding officer) name comes up in Oliver's little book Digg and Oliver has a conversation where Oliver tells Digg his father explained to him every name in the book has a reason to be there. Then Digg asks when did he chat with his dad about the list if he took the book out of his father's dead body. Oliver says a few yeats before I found a message from my father explaining the list. Digg asks him how is it possible on a deserted island and Oliver says I never said I got the message at the island. This was the first indication in the show that Oliver did not spend his 5 years on the island.

    I just re watched season 1. There is a lot of bread crumbs they are planting through out the series. Its very clever of them.

    I think Tommy being there might be a coincidence. Malcolm I am not sure he must be there for some league business or he followed his son there. I still think Amanda somehow has a hold on Oliver because of his father. It must be Amanda who gave Oliver the message from his father. Or maybe she threatens to kill Tommy who knows. They shouldn't give out these many spoilers. The wait for October is killing me.
