Thanks to @DylanJames18 for the heads up.
Andrew Dice Clay, James Jagger and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen have joined the cast of Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese's HBO music-themed pilot.
The project comes from Boardwalk Empire writer Terence Winter, and will star Bobby Cannavale as a struggling record executive at the dawn of punk and disco's popularity.

Birgitte H.S. is a very talented Danish actress, I have never seen her in any foreign films, so it will be interesting to see how she does on HBO.
ReplyDeleteI really don´t think this sounds very interesting, but HBO, Scorsese and growing up listening to Rolling Stones, I´m gonna have to give it a try.

ReplyDeleteTerence Winter is such a good writer though...I'm not one to really get into gangster films/series, but Boardwalk Empire and The Sapranos just have great great dialogue. And with Scorsese involved again (like on BE), I know that visually it will really invoke the signs of the times.
I agree, it is a must watch because of the people envolved in the project, and I really do hope it turns out good. I hope we get a little more info on the storyline soon, hopefully that will make we more excited.
