    What bothers me on True Blood lately is the fact that they're trying to hard to make the audience enjoy characters and plots that are just meh. Where's Eric, Pam, Lafayette, Jessica? The only person that i care about in those pictures is Arlene.

    Still no official Eric.
    My guess: We'll see the steamy dream sex-scene between you-know-who and Eric in next ep, then he will pop up in full flesh just in ep 3.

    The point of not showing those other characters, is to not spoiler certain episode plots to the audience. I for one want to not only see all of the characters missing, but I really am anxious to see all of the new characters! You will see Eric pretty soon!

    Maybe, but Lafayette may of had James Blood --and we should also be introduced to Eric's new love interest in this episode, who's a female...

    I understand the point of not showing them in the promos/pictures, but not on the show itself. And it's been happening for a couple seasons. Awesome characters with interesting plots have less screentime than the really boring ones, like Terry's entity, Tara's mom, Holly... It's the last season, so i really don't care about the development of Sam's annoying new girlfriend, but apparently i'm gonna have to, so I can enjoy two good minutes of Pam.

    I disagree. It's how you generate suspense by not knowing what's happening and/or by not repeating the same format every season. I find almost all of the characters enjoyable or entertianing on some level, so I don't find myself bored often. Tara's mom is central to what ever Tara's remaining story line is and most likely Willa too. Holly is essential to Andy's story line, Nichole for Sam. Sam's 'annoying' girlfriend is carrying Sam's child!!! She represents a theme for Same, who's been struggling with his own mother/sibling issues which is also relfected by becoming a parent himself issues, but this time, the baby's his--there's more at stake for him, so Nichole, whether one likes her or not still matters a great deal. All of these people (Sam, Tara's Mom, Arlene, Sam) have trying to find and have families for the whole season, so what happens to their loved ones I think is pretty important in coming to see who they're going to be before the series ends


    I promise that you won't have to wait long to see Pam and Eric, pretty sure the end of this episode that will happen, but I suspect given a spoiler about another character in relation to Eric, there will probably be a monkey wrench between them yet again...
