Just NCIS: LA for me today. The Blacklist finale was pure crap, if you ask me, and therefore doesn't deserve a vote from me.
ReplyDeleteWow sucks for Teen Wolf, I've heard that Breaking Bad episode is one of the series bests.
ReplyDeleteOnly episode to have a full 10.0 rating on IMDB.
ReplyDeleteThat's ridiculously impressive.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely the Beauty and the Beast episode.
ReplyDeleteHIMYM' series finale doesn't deserve to be in the competition. I hope it doesn't go forward than this stage and that "How Your Mother Met Me" wins at all (although that's highly unlikely).
ReplyDeletewhat was the results of that poll where the first time it was done it was a tie, what was the results on the second time?
ReplyDeleteSupernatural won.
ReplyDeleteTeen Wolf (the competition though!) & NCIS:LA
ReplyDeleteHa, knew that you would say that. Be interesting to see how it does.
ReplyDeleteTeen Wolf's competition is the only episode on IMDB to have a 10 rating. Though, TW is a popular show on the site, and Breaking Bad did poorly last time out. Both its episodes lost to Arrow's The Scientist in 2013's comp.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad and the excellent HIMYM finale.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've heard about that score on IMDB. Never watched Breaking Bad and honestly have no plans to start (not my kind of show) but I guess we're gonna have to wait and see. Though I still regret it's not Motel California from TW.
ReplyDeleteI'm (slowly) getting through Breaking Bad. I'll see for myself whether it deserves that rating or not.
ReplyDeleteTwo times Breaking Bad for me today and the terrific How I Met Your Mother finale!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Castle will be facing itself in the third round
ReplyDeleteIf ozymandias loses, this competition is a complete joke. One of the best episodes in TV History. Sadly there are too many fanbois for shows like Teen Wolf on this site.
ReplyDeleteThis competition finds the favourite episode of the fans. Not the best.
ReplyDeleteBoth Breaking Bads for me. gonna be a tad bit disappointed if Ozymandias lose to Teen Wolf. I absolutely love the show but Ozymandias is the best episode of TV I've seen, except maybe the Rains of Castamere.
ReplyDeleteJust The Blacklist for me! (and surprisingly it's beating an episode of Breaking Bad?!)
ReplyDeleteAs Bradley said, it's a poll for the fans and I would say that spoiler TV tends to have a pretty well rounded fan base of various shows with only a few acceptations. I myself still haven't seen much Breaking Bad so I can't vote for something I didn't view, but I did see all of the Blacklist, which I think is also a really good show and it's nice to see it on the polls at all! :)
ReplyDeleteNot so many Breaking Bad fans on the site.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist
NCIS: Los Angeles (only because I hate HIMYM)
Nothing
World S2 Procedurals
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad x2 & HIMYM today.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, that's true :(
ReplyDeleteVoted for Breaking Bad on the first two polls.
ReplyDeleteOh it deserved it. That episode was as close to perfection as it can get.
ReplyDeleteYep, me too. I wish BB wasn´t up against The Blacklist in the second poll, I hate to see it loose.
ReplyDeleteBeauty and the Beast
ReplyDeleteThere are only 2 episodes I care about in round 2 right now, so I am hoping for a Teen Wolf upset today. It's unlikely but a girl can dream. Also voted for The Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly, on all points.
ReplyDeleteI second that.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see NCIS made it into the poll, didn't think we had that many viewers!
ReplyDeleteI only voted for the Blacklist and NCIS LA.
I voted for Teen Wolf, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, and Beauty and the Beast. I could never get interested in Glee.
ReplyDeleteNCIS LA is fairly popular on the site.
ReplyDeleteEh... It really just speaks to the way internet fandom works. Citizen Kane, The Godfather, and Seven Samurai don't have a 10.0 rating and they're among the best films of all time.
ReplyDeletebreaking bad
ReplyDeletebreaking bad
nothing
BATB
Still, it probably deserves it.
ReplyDeleteJust Teen Wolf here for me
ReplyDeleteGo Blacklist go!
ReplyDeleteBreaking bad has to win!
ReplyDeleteExactly! The best episode ever and it just loses like that?
ReplyDeleteThere have been 5 episodes in this competition that I considered to be worthy of winning, but as it seems, all are gonna drop out in the first round.
What is this about then? Who can gather more friends to click on something?
The problem here are the fans, who aren't objective. How can Breaking Bad be losing seriously? It's really a contest of who has the biggest fandom.
ReplyDeleteI believe the largest single group here is the CW. Even though, it's shows have the lowest number of viewers among the 5 broadcast networks, their shows tend to do very well in competitions. That group loves supernatural/ fantasy programs, geared for youngins :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously how does True Detective "Form and Void" lose to Twilight the series? How does Sleepy Hollow "Bad Blood" lose to Arrow "Deathstoke"? I loved that episode of Arrow by the way, but there's no competition there. Reign anything beat The Americans "Echo"???
People need to stop taking these polls so seriously.
ReplyDeleteBecause many of us haven't seen Breaking Bad and some of us have no intention of ever seeing it because it is not our type of show.
ReplyDeleteIt happens because this, like every competition on the Internet ever, is not a competition that finds the best episode. It is fan favourite. Deathstroke was a great episode (and as I understand it so was Sleepy Hollow's finale) but there aren't as many Sleepy Hollow fans on the site so it doesn't win.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame both BB are out.
ReplyDeleteSo so sad......:-( I like the other two shows, but ....it´s Breaking Bad!
ReplyDeleteso how can you vote against something that you didn't watched? already watched teen wolf blacklist and breaking bad and amc's show is so much better
ReplyDeleteSeeing how many people came over to the site just to vote for BatB and not bother to take part in the other three polls that were run in this round, it's pretty obvious to see where the competition will eventually go.
ReplyDeleteI still think that The Mentalist will win, not BatB.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, but I think we've both been here long enough now to know that this was inevitable really.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that almost everyone voting will at some point vote in a poll where they have not seen both selections. It's not realistic to think that people will sit down and watch all 64 episodes. Therefore people are goingto vote for the episodes they've seen and like or vote agaisnt the episodes they've seen and hated. It's kind of like any award. People aren't going to see all of the choices so they make their selections based on what they have.
ReplyDeleteAnd more power to the BatB fans. I don't watch the show but if their little fandom can stir up the most passion for voting, then they deserve to win. It continually surprises me how upset people get when they too could go drum up support for the shows they favor but choose not to. Not that I am saying that you are doing this. You aren't but man do some people take these polls to heart.
ReplyDeleteThank you for saying that. We get so much negative comments from other fandoms, something I dont understand. We are a small fandom, so you would think the underdog winning something would encourage support. I guess we live in a very different world nowadays. BatB fan and SPN fan
ReplyDeleteYes it is. It would be so much fun to see another show win for once.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first came to SpoilerTV, it was my favorite fandom that got slammed right and left. I empathize with people who just want to get a bit more recognition out about the show they care so much for. Whether people like it or not, internet polls are all about which fandom can mobilize the fastest and farthest. To the well organized fandom goes the spoils. It's nothing personal.
