07/01/2014 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : THE NIGHT SHIFT TREATS DOZENS OF SOLDIERS AFTER A DEVASTATING ACCIDENT… DREW’S BOYFRIEND RICK RETURNS FROM AFGHANISTAN AND IT MARKS A HUGE CHANGE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP… TC AND SCOTT CONTINUE TO LOCK HORNS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND JORDAN FEELS THE PRESSURE – SCOTT WOLF AND LUKE MACFARLANE GUEST STAR – Drew (Brendan Fehr) is looking forward to the return of his boyfriend Rick (guest star Luke MacFarlane, "Brothers & Sisters") from his overseas deployment but things go terribly wrong as a horrific crash sends badly wounded soldiers, including Rick, into the emergency room. Drew struggles to keep his relationship under wraps with TC’s (Eoin Macken) help, as they both try to save Rick. TC and Scott (Scott Wolf) argue over who is in charge and Jordan (Jill Flint) realizes she has to deal with some unresolved feelings for TC. Topher (Ken Leung) struggles to diagnose a soldiers illness as Krista (Jeananne Goossen) fends off the flirtations of young soldiers in the emergency room, and Paul (Robert Bailey, Jr.) must contend with their good-natured teasing because he looks so young. Kenny (JR Lemon) discovers Ragosa’s (Freddy Rodriguez) online dating profile and offers to help fix it up. Daniella Alonso also stars.
