I would love to see Chris and Derek develop a friendship next season. Their scenes together in 3B were some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteAnd can't wait to find out more about Deputy Parrish!
I knew there was something supernatural about Parrish. Ever since he said that something drew him to Beacon Hills
ReplyDeleteSo season 4 is actually going to be the last one, or that's still open for discussion?
ReplyDeleteWhere did you hear that? No one's said it's the final season.
ReplyDelete"Dylan on how TW should end..." = that tweet.
ReplyDeleteBut mostly because a friend of mine is saying that season 4 is the last one "because it's the way Jeff Davis entended it". I tried to explain that what a showrunner wants and what a network does are two separate things, but she won't listen.
Dylan was talking about when the show eventually ends. And LOL, I think your friend's definitely wrong.
ReplyDeleteYay for more Susan Walters.
ReplyDeleteTho I love there is a big part for all the other main characters, How come I'm not hearing much on Scott. or is that too spoilerish?
ReplyDeleteditto to what you said. But help me. Susan? I is NOT twanging in my memory just this second. If I saw her it would be a slam dunk but the name...ack!
ReplyDeleteHistorically speaking, from a network perspective, the showrunner is extremely replaceable. And from something he said in one of the post episode shows, I had the impression that the creation of the show was a job-for-hire (not something he had in a drawer like Buffy was for Joss Whedon.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if its still the same, but the standard hiring contract for the actors on a TV series used to be a minimum of 5 seasons. I'm guessing losing Tyler or Dylan is the only thing that will stop this show before MTV decides to cancel it.
I assumed it was because we've gotten those nubbins already. Scott and Kira will be feeling their way through their new relationship.
ReplyDeleteThat's obvious. I'm talking about the expansion of the wolf mythology and his power and such for Scott.
ReplyDeleteI wonder Will there be an explanation why Kate maybe stronger if she is then Scott. I'll just have to watch and see.
ah. I assumed that wasn't on the table yet given all of the conversation so far has focused on the character stuff and not the big elements (like spoilers about this seasons villain and any additions to the mythology.)
ReplyDeleteSusan Walters - she plays Lydia's mother (and is actually married to Linden Ashby in real life).
ReplyDeleteJeff has already said that if the show gets a season 5 (it probably will) he will go back to 24 episodes for season 5.
