I knew that's why he was spotted back in Vancouver a few weeks early! So thrilled Jensen's directing again because I love his episodes.
ReplyDeleteIs that the 100th episode?
ReplyDeleteNo, 200th will be 10-5
ReplyDeleteWell he will be the first director directing how to play DDean

Had Jensen been spotted in Vancouver before today or yesterday? Because I just saw a picture of him at the airport with the caption saying that he was coming in for the filming of the 10th season. Although I'm not sure if it was actually from today or a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteYup, here's pictures: http://www.justjared.com/2014/06/26/jensen-ackles-wants-you-points-out-photogs-in-vancouver/
ReplyDeleteIf Supernatural doesn't go the 'Smallville' route and wrap up the situation in the season premiere.
ReplyDeleteConsidering Mark Sheppard is now a regular, I doubt that's going to happen.
ReplyDeleteGood for him. I hope he gets a chance to direct other projects as well once Supernatural ends its run. He seems to find the behind scenes work challenging and stimulating.
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad for him. I think that might be what he's aiming to do after SPN.
ReplyDeleteI find it difficult to imagine him acting in another show as a different character other than Dean Winchester, so if he enjoys directing and gets accepted into what I once believe he said was a difficult circle to be accepted in, 'the directors' club', I mean, that could be his future career.
Whatever happens after SPN ends, he and Jared will remain in tv legend as the mythical Winchester Brothers.
Hey Dahne, just wanted to let you know I watch Spader in Sex, Lies and Videotape and LOVED it. Found it on Half.com for 75 cents. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love his eps, so this is great news.
ReplyDeleteOne of Supernatural's old directors is not a frequent one for Game of Thrones, and he apparently told Jensen whenever he says the word,, he'll get him something on GoT.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's also the fact that Marvel wanted him for two roles, he was second in line for Captain America, and then was offered Hawkeye later.
I think I watched that in college. Glad you're gettingyour Spader fix now that Blacklist is inhiatus.
ReplyDeleteWhere I would wish him all the best in a movie career, I don't think it's ever going to happen, not in a leading role anyway. There are too many hopeful young actors butting heads for Jensen to stand out.
ReplyDeleteMany of the actors who have been in sucessful tv shows, seem to go missing after they end, Tom Welling for example.
If he likes directing, I think he would have better success in that, but then only Jensen knows what he really wants to do.
Deanom...
ReplyDeleteThe difference with Jensen and Tom Welling is, Jensen is insanely charismatic.
ReplyDeleteWhoo-hoo!
