  3. Cancellations: The McCarthy's (but this could be the next The Millers), probably Madam Secretary (even though the trailer was pretty good) and Reckless. Sadly The Mentalist, thankfully we have Jisbon :)

Renewals: hopefully Stalker (whose trailer was freaking amazing, thanks to Maggie Q!!!), Scorpion and Battle Creek.

  11. Agreed. I would call it the "Finale Season".

  12. I keep waiting for Matthew to find another dramatic role,he was good in The West Wing.

  13. The Good Wife is going to become the weakest CBS show so I think it will be cancelled.

  17. I'm not doing any midseason shows.

Of the returning, 2 Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Person of Interest, NCIS and LA, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, Blue Bloods, and Elementary will all be renewed. For the unsure, CSI is 60/40. It has Cyber, so it's clear CBS wants to expand the brand, but the show is on Sunday at 10, and the franchise could still go on without the mothership. The Millers is more up in the air. It started to lose from Two and a Half Men near the end, and while it does still have the Big Bang halo, if it stays in that mid-to-low 2s, it'll be canceled. Mom all depends on if it does well when Big Bang leaves, and 2 Broke Girls isn't the best lead-in nowadays. The Good Wife is also past syndication and has only critical acclaim backing it. It seems the end is getting closer and closer. And The Mentalist...why did it get renewed?

For new shows, NCIS: NO has the best chance. Its got a great lead-in and is apart of a huge franchise. Stalker also has a lot going for it. It has a potent lead-in, and almost no competition. Chicago PD isn't that strong, and Nashville is a zombie show walking. Madam Secretary doesn't seem all that hot. The show is on Sunday, so it'll suffer overrun. My question though is will 60 Minutes be preempted or not? If it isn't then this show is going to suffer. Scorpion and The McCarthys are in a battle over who will get canceled. If Scorpion is canceled, CBS could double pump Mike and Molly, then put Odd Couple after M&M for midseason. If McCarthys gets canceled, then Mike and Molly goes in. Both could get canceled, but it's clear one of these shows will get the ax.

  18. The only CBS show I watch is TBBT, but I'll be giving Stalker & Scorpion a go, they look good and im a fan of Kevin Williamson.

  19. I simply can´t vote for The Mentalist to be canceled!!! I think it will be the final season but to vote it to be canceled hurts too much...

  21. It depends on what failsJune 7, 2014 at 5:29 PM

    Returining shows:

Renewed: Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, CSI, Elementary, Mike and Molly, Mom, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, The Millers, 2 Broke Girls

Canceled: The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-O (I bet CBS cancels two veterans to replace with the new dramas renewed)

Techinicaly canceled but getting a final season: The Mentalist.

CBS won't cancel a veteran comedy again because of 2.5 Men ending and their failed pilot season.

    New shows:

    Renewed: Stalker, NCIS: New Orleans.

Canceled: Scorpion, The McCarthys, Madam Secretary, The McCarthys, Battle Creek, CSI Cyber, The Odd Couple

    - NCIS: Renewal
    - NCIS: Los Angeles: Renewal

    - The Good Wife: So hard to say... Renewal for a final 13 episode season
    - The Mentalist: Cancellation

  23. "CSI: Los Angeles" That's a new one ;)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sadly I'm too late to vote, but here are my predictions anyway:

    Returning shows
Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, 2 Broke Girls: certain renewals
CSI, Mike and Molly, Mom, The Good Wife, The Millers: likely renewed
    The Mentalist: canceled/final season

    New shows
    Scheduled:
CSI Cyber: I am not sure what CBS is expecting from this. It got a bad timeslot and is unlikely to get high numbers. Even though the name CSI will probably earn them money, I am not sure it will be enough. Canceled
Madam Secretary: though it seems compatible with The Good Wife, chances are it won't do great. Canceled
    NCIS New Orleans: renewed
Scorpion: chances are The Big Bang Theory will carry some audience over to Scorpion a la Person of Interest two season ago. When it moves back to Thursdays, it all depends on whether people want to stick with it. It pleasantly surprised me though, so I'm leaning towards renewal.
Stalker: it seems compatible with Criminal Minds and people seem positive about it. CSI did ok numbers there, nothing big, but I have no reason to believe Stalker will do worse. Renewed
    The McCarthys: canceled

Unscheduled: (no idea where these are gonna go)
Battle Creek: it is good (yes, I have seen it), but it's CBS midseason. Canceled
    The Odd Couple: canceled

  25. Oh, my bad. Hahaha. I don't know what's wrong with me but I always interchange CSI with NCIS. Ugh. -_-
