really great start to the new season! loved the shift in the Harvey/Mike dynamic and that at least for now we don't have to worry about Mike's "secret" getting revealed and the writers can craft up other great plot lines.... it'll be interesting to see how this will shape up. Loved all the GoT and Princess Bride references and especially loved the scene with Harvey and Jessica in his flat... and of course Donna rules...
I don't if its because I am friends with a lawyer or what, but it made sense what was happening and what is about to happen.
This is gonna be great season. Harvey and Mike will have to face each other in trying to takeover that company, but I know at the end of it all they will stand together one way or another. I like that there is going to be another big case/ battle allowing for a serial style telling and less episodic feeling.
Seems like they will also be facing off against the an attack on the firm, but they new guy will lead the defense on that, Litt can't catch a break, but he might just end up saving that side of the things to, he is dedicated for the good these days.
Mike's assistant is cool. Rachel telling Mike who he is facing off against is just gonna give him more incentives to win, tho I am sure it cause him to go more aggressive.
One of the best shows on TV. Love the Jessica and Harvey scenes. Love Malone. Love Logan. Love Louis with Katrina. Can't wait for it to get ugly between Mike and Harvey and Rachel. Then Jessica the queen B is gonna be having some emotional issues? Bring all of this to me. Love it. Love this show.
What was mike's 'idea' who is going after who and WHY? The writing is getting worse and worse. there is no case. in fact 'the case' always seems to be taking the back burner with all the drama going on. Harvey's wit and charm and only so long carry this show...

Loved the episode and the new dynamic. Harvey was his usual awesome self with Donna and Jessica. No matter the situation I can t find myself pulling for Mike. He is smart no question ab it but he is no where near Harvey''s level when it comes to business so anytime he acts like the boss I find it funny and unbelievable. I think he still has much to learn before he tries to take on someone like Harvey. Also, Harvey can pull of arrogant, Mike not so much, it's annoying when he does it :)), maybe it's the actor's fault. That said, I'm loving all the changes, is such a fresh feel: Jessica is getting naked :d, Rachel/Harvey (I'm starting to like her now), Jessica/Harvey are dynamite together (so much better than the whole betrayal thing) and Donna/Harvey never gets old. Welcome back SUITS!
Poor Louis! Always getting screwed. Imagine pulling an all night's hard work and finding out next morning that Jessica already hired Malone. It's partially his fault but I also blame Jessica for this. She should have trusted her guy and given him preference.
Looks like the main case is going to take up some episodes. Logan Sanders being Rachel's ex i s surely going to complicate matters for Mike and Rachel.
The episode was great but it was too short!! I want to know more, I want to hear what arguments poor Louis is going to use, I want to see Rachel meet Saunders and I want way more Mike/Harvey scenes. I'm not really convinced by Mike's assistant, she seemed like she was trying way too hard to be bossy, she's no Donna. Donna, by the way, looks so fantastic! And she was the snappiest. Am I the only one who thinks Harvey is getting a wee bit too comfortable? Like he should probably work a bit more if he wants to keep his top dog position? I don't know, maybe it's just an impression. I knew I was not going to like the Harvey/Mike conflict and I really didn't, I don't like to see them fighting and for now they are so bullheaded they are refusing to see the other side. I want to knock their heads together until they make up. Need more Suits !!!
this was good. Harvey & Mike dueling this season-fun times ahead. Jessica has unapologetic swagger from that 1St shot to her pulling that Harvey-esque move on Jeff Malone (you can work for me but not have me). Harvey did that to Donna & Scottie. Mike's donna looks promising. And the heat that was in Harvs apt btw he & Jessica-looked liked grown folks business to me!!! Great episode
I love Rachel/Harvey! it's really refreshing to see them interact and I always wanted her to be more involved in cases or work...I hate it when writers use her as just love interest... and I agree w/ what you said about mike's new attitude. I liked S1's mike..
Creator said it gets messy b/w Harvey/Mike/Rachel/Logan!!!!! hahahaha cant wait!!!!! Nice plot twist at the end! and I loved Jessica getting love interest! :)
Grown folks business is exactly what to call it. I have been living for the day we will get some Jessica and harvey. I know it will never happen. That kitchen scene is the closest we will get which is why it is being rewatched in my household a thousand times over.
HA, I loved it, this is going to be one HOT summer. Mike finding out his adversary was Rachel's affair should make him that much more ruthless. Gonna be fun.
I agree and am glad they did not take the Mike is not a real lawyer plot any further, it was starting to drag. This is a case of showrunner doing a good thing. lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!
ReplyDeletenot a bad episode, it seems like Rachael and Mike are headed for a break up with her working for Harvey.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, when I watch this show I completely forget how much I hate corporate lawyers and investment bankers.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to start the season! I do miss the old dynamic, but this keeps the show fresh as it opens a whole lot of other possible storylines.
ReplyDeleteBankers I get they fucked up and are assholes. Lawyers just doing there job.
ReplyDeleteThere are good lawyers and there are arsehole lawyers. Corporate lawyers are more on the arsehole side of things.
ReplyDeleteI don't if its because I am friends with a lawyer or what, but it made sense what was happening and what is about to happen.

I hope so, with her he's boring.

ReplyDeleteBankers were only doing what congress told and wanted them to do, if you are talking about the housing mess.
ReplyDeleteYes Congress allowed de-regulation and facilitated the crisis, but the actions of Bankers and Wall Street caused it.
