Finally I feel like we are getting somewhere. This season started kinda slow for me....maybe because I’m mostly a Sam and Oliver fan above the rest and they really didn’t have much going on in the first few eps. But I feel like things are falling into place and picking up steam. I was a little leery about Oliver taking the promotion cause I was worried we’d see less of him, but TBH I think he is PERFECT for the position!! He’s so full of knowledge and really knows people, he knew exactly how to help Gail, and what to say to Andy, I can’t wait to see how he helps Chris. Although I do miss him in uniform and his sandwiches....no pickles!! lol
Sam seems to be getting his bearings again which is a relief! :) Missy and Ben have such an amazing chemistry I can’t help but grin like a fool every time they are on my screen. It was so fun watching them discuss retirement! lol Who wouldn’t love sand in their sandwich?!?! lol Their characters really are growing because I don’t think the old Sam would have followed Andy to the kitchen to try talking after being brushed off the first time. Nor would Sam have given her (us) another zamboni moment, revealing his first law suit and how he threw up in public! lol Although I’m anxious for full on McSwarek after being deprived for so long, I’m glad they are giving us these little moments and taking it slow. I think it’s the best thing for them to not rush into it.
WOW! Is Chris ever spiralling!! I hope Dov figures this out before it’s too late! Travis did a much more convincing job playing the “bad boy” in this ep (IMO) this could be a very interesting storyline, I hope the writers stick with it and do it justice.
Gail...anyone else think she will want to adopt this little girl?
I voted "good". I'm still not sure where this season is going and aside from the Duncan drama, I'm not really interested in any of the storylines that they are focussing on. Chris' unravelling is just sad (although the actor has been doing a terrific job). and the Andy- Sam relationship is just stale. On a positive note, I do like the cases of the week and I'm also curious to know where Gail's story is headed. Surprisingly, Oliver is terriific as a the new chief (I loved his talks with both Andy and Gail), and all scenes with Tracy and Steve continue to make me smile. I'm hoping that we can get a fresh story for Dov and Nick, though. Dov is one of those great characters who has always been somewhat underused, and unless NIck and Andy have a chance of getting back together, I'd hate to see NIck spend the entire season pining after Andy or getting stupid pep-talks from Chloe. And Steve is right....Nick definitely has game! LOL.
I'm wandering if they're ever going to address Andy and Sam's involvement in the Marlo ordeal. Using Frank as the scapegoat really wasn't the most satisfying conclusion to that story.
Very well said, I totally agree, I'm glad that didn't just rush back into things, you can see the flirtiness that I've missed and the banter with mcswareck and it's awesome! I'm glad to see how things r progressing with them and shows how much sam has ch aged and willing to be diffrent to be with the woman he loves, I really believe mcswareck will make it work for good this time!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
