pretty good ep that is setting up stuff to come... still not too keen on the possible prospect of a Maggie/Ben hook up, and the cult drone Lourdes and crazed mother Anne are a bit over the top that will hopefully smooth out as the season moves along
i guess the worm didn't change lourdes huh, made her crazy and i really did think maggie was with the cult, so new karen is not really the new karen he's not free like she was, and surprised ben's not scared of lexi
Crazy Lourdes I can take. This cult thing gives makes her more interesting this season. But Maggie and Ben - nope!! Why oh why go this way with them (is it like illegal in America?). They could have developed Ben's relationship with Deni a bit more see where that could of gone. It wouldn't of been as creep with the whole age difference. Or at least made it more one sided on Ben's part.
Anyway my rant about those two are over other than that I thought it was also a good episode. Better than last weeks confusing episode at least.
I am trying to get into this season and it's slow going. I am growing to hate the cult storyline. And the Ginsu Knife moment (remember those commercials "But wait there's more!") Well this episode we were treated to "But wait! There's more aliens coming!" Matt's story is moving a little slow for me but I do love that he's the mini-version of his Dad.
But what stuck out to me....the aliens bring Tom (who they have to know led a rebel force that did major damage too their invasion efforts) aboard their ship and then leave him alone in a room? WTF? Really?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

This show is quickly becoming a huge steaming pile.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it feels very forced now. Like they're just trying to come up with ways of dragging it on.

Lourdes has to die! and please no Maggie/Ben, that's just sick, and not in a good way.
