That final scene was truly beautiful. It was a risky thing to kill Grayson, but the message on the show was there all the time. Grayson falling in love with Jane, and Jane falling in love with a total stranger.
The show has a special place in my heart for all of the things they teach us for the past 6 years and I'm excited to see Brooke Eliott's next work on TV. She is truly amazing.
I was so nervous that they were going to take the series out on a sad note. Thank you writers for giving us the happy ending that all the characters deserved. And I loved the final scene! It was awesome.
She said she's taking some time off. She would very much like to be on broadway sometime, but if some other network pick up Drop Dead Diva (could go either ways) or a new script pop up for her, she's taking it. But I guess maybe we see her on the next pilot season.
Personally, I would love to see her on The Good Wife. Can u imagine?
I had no idea this episode was also series finale. :(
Ending was perfect and in fact, this whole season was exceptionally good. I'm grateful Sony gave us two extra seasons after it was cancelled. Will miss watching it every summer.
YES, absolutely: Brooke Eliott + TGW sounds like an amazing idea. Hope CBS thinks about it. Personally, I do think we've seen the last of DDD, just can't imagine where another season could go. Plus, yesterday 'happy ending' was very good, so I'm statisfied.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt was a honest ending, after all.
ReplyDeleteBy the way: Do you have infos about Brooke next tv project? I could not find anything, even in her official IMDB page ...
