The episode was good, but I was disappointed by the lack of Becca in this episode, I really loved her in the pilot, I hope to see more of her in the future episodes.
Do you think we'll ever see anything about demons and Satan? These bad angels led by Gabriel look very nasty ... I wonder what demons will look like if ever introduced in this show.
Good episode. Alexis being very stubborn and not listening to Michael. I fear this will lead him into trouble, especially with Gabriel aware of who he is. Man, there are so many evil angels in Vega. How come Micheal couldn't sense them? I suppose they make a point of avoiding places where he is at. It looks like they are everywhere.
WTH was that ending :O is in"love" with an angel?.. Alex quest to find out who he really is, it's just starting, interesting episode on Arika's and Whale fight for control of teh situatin they had in hands.
I liked the this episode MUCH more than the pilot. I guess with the pilot it just had to present as much of the story as possible in the time given. This made the pilot feel sorta manic. I feel this episode settled into the story better, and focused more on the characters rather than the plot. I don't trust Claire right now with the whole tattoo warning Alex translated last week and all. I liked the stuff with Alex more so than the political stuff. i guess I'm kinda lost with all the senate/political stuff. It is just boring to me. I would like more Alex struggling with his destiny/kicking ass and taking names. I was surprised however by the final scene, and can't wait to find out what the deal is there.
I'm sure down the road we'll find that out once we the show starts exploring Alex's paternity. It was never mentioned in the movie who got Audrey, Alex's mother, pregnant. My bets on Lucifer just so to support why Alex is being tagged as the "Chosen One".
He may turn out to be a nephilim with dormant angelic powers.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The ending: What the...? Is every episode going to end up blinding me. Why is General Riesen sleeping with the enemy?
ReplyDeletePretty good episode.
Had to laugh when Michael grabbed Alex and took off because he wasn't listening to him.
Liked him trying to get advice from Riesen.
Much better than the pilot IMO.

ReplyDeleteNext week, Michael crying!!

ReplyDeleteWow, again....That ending. With so many forbidden romances in this show, I don't think they were ever forbidden in the first place.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Alex mentioned that some of the 8-Balls started growing out wings in the pilot?
ReplyDeleteThat ending was a shocker. I can't wait to find out who she is and how long he has been seeing her.
ReplyDeleteDid he? i have to watch that part again. I will get back to you.
ReplyDeleteYeah I assumed they avoided him.
ReplyDeleteAs for getting into trouble looks like there will be indeed trouble for Alex next week on the road.

ReplyDeleteSomeone brought up that it might be an angel that's possessing Claire's mother's body.

Alex's mother's name was Charlie.
ReplyDeleteMy bad hehehe. Confused her with the girl character that Gabriel killed in the movie.
ReplyDeleteThey haven't introduced Claire's mother. If you mean the 8 ball that her dad is with at the end-she looked the same age as Claire.
ReplyDeleteYes, but if the host doesn't age when an angel possesses them and she's been possessed since the angel war began, it could be possible.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a theory I heard.
Oh, yeah. Okay, that would work and it would definitely explain why an old guy is shacking up with a hotty 8 ball. :-)
