I feel so unsatisfied. Normally short seasons are a good thing, but not in this case. This show would just be hitting its stride if this were only a mid-season finale. Bo and Tate would be operating as more of a team as opposed to her dragging him kicking and screaming everywhere. There'd be Dani's redemption & (I guess) working with Winter and Channing. An exploration of the company behind Orchestra. *facepalm*
It was a nice ending, hopefully the whole cast get new roles specially Jake, he has the whole package (looks and talented) and it's a shame he can't get a good project.
decent ending, but I couldn't help thinking that they ran out of budget before the end as the special effects particularly at the end weren't that impressive and until they did the long shot of the Orchestra campus burning all it looked like was Dani psychically locked them in a room and went outside to turn into a fire tornado... that left a bit to be desired as you'd think that that would be the first building that she would incinerate.... plus I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't show her seeing her brother via Bo.... There were a number of weak points in the writing: most notably that earlier they pointed out that it was a mistake to "hide" in NYC with all the cameras, and people who could notice that Tate (assuming that he is still wanted by the FBI/govt and has an Amber Alert out on him like before - unless agent Farrell took care of that)... And in the initial Bo/Dani face off they tried to establish that Bo wasn't quite as strong as Dani but they could've had Bo at least try to fight/resist her and fail (even just to try to protect Tate), but they made it look way too easy for Dani to just grab her and take her imho. And the ending other than Bo/Tate left too much unknown - Skorous evacuated all the patients/personnel so he could restart Orchestra somewhere else, and what's Dani/Winter/Channing going to do now? Notthe greatest bit of writing but all in all it was a decent ep but the best part for me was the Bo/Tate relationship.
I really liked this show. It's a shame they didn't get the numbers they would have needed to stay on the air. IMHO one problem they had was the title. Between the title and the early trailers I though the show was going to have a religious them and I wasn't in a hurry to watch. But because I record the premiere of almost everything I finally decided to watch it. And became a fan just in time for it to be cancelled.
Anyway, I liked the ep. The only thing is that for me, having the "nuclear bomb" neutralized by the right psychological words is a bit anticlimactic. Despite that I loved the image of Bo standing between her parents.
Sad we could not get to see more of it any more. But I Believe it got the point across in what time was left and where it could have eventually went. The best part of this show was the Relationship between Bo and Tate, the banter the tuck ins and the love. I would have liked them be more alone and helping then being on the run so much of time.
From here onwards I would like to Believe that they would travel south and about while helping those in need. As fate directs Bo. Peace out.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This was a nice show, too bad it was cancelled, will miss Bo and Tate.
ReplyDeleteNice ending to the series.

ReplyDeleteThe show had potential, but they didn't know how to explode it, it became repetitive and senseless thing.
