Cat should have punched him instead. more effective, but the slap was still pretty good. i loved Gabe's face after she slapped him lol he was so surprised when really he shouldn't. Gabe and her father are really stupid!!
I loved this episode. I dont always want or need to see the romance part every ep., as long as Vincat work together. As V said they are better together than they are apart. LOVING the action. I prefer Gabe in an evil part, every show needs that. All I know that the hour went by way to quickly and I dont look fwd to other shows as much as I do this one
Gotta hand it to Sendil Ramamurthy, I good villain can make a show, and he delivers. I've been saying for a long time that Gabe has his own agenda. Voila! Slap! Also, the line of the night: "I'm sorry I hit you in the face with a chair." *sigh* Kristin...♥
I agree-the episodes are definitely getting better and helping forget the first 13 or 14 episiodes of this season and that was my favorite scene as well. Some of us have been waiting for that slap since the end of Season 1.
Loved it too! Gabe has been going round for the past season and a bit panting "slap me, slap me, ohhh would someone please punch me in the face" and Cat finally obliged. Thank you Cat, you have really risen high in my esteem. I will even forgive the "I loved you"! Lol. Season 2 is tying up all the loose ends beautifully and I am absolutely in love.
This episode was really awesome ! Gabe showing his real face, Tess and JT doing everything they can to help their friends and Vincat ... so glad they finally decided to work together. Season 2 is getting better and better !
I voted awesome. It's getting better and better. It started on ep 215 for me. More action and humor, and now they are together again it's almost perfect for me. Hurry up Monday!
An action packed episode but emotionally didn't top last week episode . A bit boring for me and not really different from Adelson's previous episode (Ancestors) - The whole FBI thing was dumb and VinCat mission crazy insane. - A massive , and expensive, city manhunt for a beast who is spending most of his time on the same rooftop since episode 1 of S1. Follow the Beauty if you want to find the Beast. It is cheaper :-) - Catherine : I'm Nikita 2.0 and I can save the world all by myself. - Vincent : I'm done running. Indeed he looked sick and tired in this episode - What's wrong with his lovely voice ? Too deep and low - Gabe : I'm the real star of the show . Down in our throats till the end of the season. Any time I see him I use the FF button . He never had a real purpose on S2 except rolling bed sheets with the Beauty while the Beast was jet-setting and partying with Barbie-beast . And now the jealousy theory to chase a love rival is a joke. . . lazy writing. - She slapt him . Hallelujah. She should have slapped herself too for trusting such an idiot . Btw she always seems to trust the wrong people who always try to kill Vincent . Just saying. - JT/Vin bromance is in full force . Old , trustworthy JT. Best friend ever - Hopefully good-Tess is here to stay. Finally a nice episode for our beautiful Nina. - JT/T are adorable and fun but I'm not sold on their romantic relationship.Nope. - As much as I love Vincat rooftop moments I found them a bit too cheesy and repetitive. I badly miss S1 empathy and genuinity. But that "magic" boat sailed in season 1 and never came back . They seem to spend most of their time in an exhausting push&pull game, running, hiding, arguing, fighting , jumping and talking, talking , talking . Did they ever talk so much ? Take a deep breath , shut up and stare at each other for half a minute.Please. - BATB guest stars are all forgettable . - Ok , so Cat was in love with Gabe too ? A weekend in Cancun made miracles happen ! Poor Cat . Her character was awfully treated all season long and when she finally see the light the writers didn't miss another opportunity to made her look like a 30 years old teenager unable to understand the difference between meaningless sex and real love and who easily fall to any beast or former-beast crossing her path. That single "L" word said to the wrong man in the wrong moment was a total nonsense and put a huge question mark on her "B" complex . Is Vincent for real or just another mission to save the last "bad" guy ? Epic.
You have raised some good points. For sure, for me as well, the magic was in season 1 and hasn't come back for me either. I am enjoying the episodes infinitely more that the first 3/4's of the season but I still feel something missing.. I guess waiting for 3 months to get the last 6 episodes put a lot of expectation in those last 6. Some of that has been met but not the whole VinCat feeling has come back for me. I think it partly has to do with the Gabe thing and having him shoved down our throats. For me, it seems like the story has become almost more about him that VinCat. And the whole" I loved you" to Gabe threw me off as well. But then we were also led to believe that Vincent and Tori had a sort of big brother mentor relationship until we found out they were living together on his boat! I too feel like the action has taken over the show and what I really loved about Season 1 was that it was so balanced! Action, humor, intrigue and characters got equal time. Certainly the main characters did, which were JR, KK ,AB and NL until Gabe came along. Hopefully the last 4 episodes will satisfy a bit more and we see less and less of Gabe, but that doesn't really look like it is happening. Even KK said in an interview that there was a big story around Gabe in the last 6 episodes.
Fantastic, awesome episode! Love that VinCat are on the same page, risking it all to be together, as it should be. Catherine slapped Gabe, but Vincent's going to bring a whole world of hate down on Gabe' sorry ass, when Vincent's beat down comes, Gabe won't know what hit him!!!
A big brother mentor relationship with a Redhaired chick ? You couldn't believe that .. did you ? LOL. I don't see Gabe having any big interesting story except being something like a vacuum cleaner sucking everybody' screening time . After 18 meaningless Gabe-centric episodes I don't really care what he does, what he say , what he feel , what he want. I just want 4 episodes about Vincent , Catherine , JT , Tess . I'm sure they want him to play the big bad baddie in the last episodes but, in my opinion , is a waste of time because he's not a REAL treat to Vincent . He's just a pathetic scorned psycho kitty looking for personal revenge but not the BIG bad baddie I was waiting for since episode 1 of S2 . Where is he ?
I think she should've kicked her boot up a couple of times, and I think he would look good in ORANGE in jail with Reynolds.I feel the episode was all that it could be,lots of VinCat,a kiss once in awhile & Tess&JT helping them all the way,I liked VINCat working together,2 great minds getting what needs to be done for Vincent & Catherine to be together...absolutely loved the episode, can't wait for monday night again.
I agree! I want the last 4 episodes to be about the same as it should be! We heard from different actors that the last 6 will be reminiscent of season 1 but in season 1 it did center around VinCat those last episodes after they finally said I love you and consummated the relationship. The other stuff around them was just a means to solidify their love and being together and future together and realizing they could be two different people with two different opinions and still realize that they are stronger together than apart. The whole of season 2 was tearing that apart to build it backup to the same realization and that was done through Gabe. I want the FAB 4 back-the humour, the camadarie, the working together, the facing anything for each other, and the love! I am ready for a new baddie as well; one that is not going to threaten the love in the relationship or one that is going to turn each main character into someone unrecognizable like they did in season 2.
I thought maybe when Vincent Had him against the wall he was going to take him out, but he let him go,Catherine got a good hard slap in which I feel should have been her boot instead
Awesome episode. But i'm starting to hate Gabe and i hope they kill of his character. The actor is great and one of my favorites, but this character is the worse part of this show right now.
They didn't need any Gabe or Tori to make them stronger or the storyline more interesting. They just cheapened themselves and their love. And I will never believe that a man who was given the gift of a second "human" life (the life he was desperately looking for ) after being shot dead will risk it all again for what ? a two-weeks relationship ? VinCat are not the only unrecognizable characters.
I loved all the Gabe scenes in this episode with Cat and Tess! When Tess told him that she picked Vincent's side instead of his, and when Cat slapped him were just amazing! The only thing they got wrong was when Cat said she loved him. She cared about him, there's a difference.
I think you're right in most of your points, the thing is that the writers or whoever... DESTROYED the storyline of the show in season 2, they turned the victim into the villain and vice versa, and that was the main problem for me. After the 3rd. episode of season 2 everything looked odd, I don't know you, but I thought the story would be about Vincent finding out step by step what had happened to him (with Cat's help of course) and that once he had realized the whole thing he would be absolutely mad and would look for revenge, but NO!!, it turned out that he was kind of aware of his situation, and once he really found out the truth he didn't really care about it, and in the end he was the bad guy who didn't take his chance of being good (even when they made us think that his cruelty was part of what Muirfield did to him) and of course we never even knew WHAT MUIRFIELD DID TO HIM!!, oh!, and in the middle of this, Gabe became Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Cat fell in love with him, in summary the production made A TOTAL MESS!!, so now they have to find a way to fix it all, that's why they're making this, and it's true it seems a little repetitive, but it has to be that way, Vincent can't be out In the wide open world, he has to be hiding, otherwise he wouldn’t be the beast, and Cat has to be making the sacrifice of lying to be with him, now the thing is that yeah, it would be good if the change the formula a little bit, I don't know, maybe Cat could move out to another apartment or something like that, I don't know!, something that make this feel a little bit different. OH and I almost forget, I totally agree with you, I don't like the Tess/JT match, I think that it would be nice for them to be part of the secret world, you know with all the complications involve, you know, like having a boy/girlfriend, that can't know everything about your life, OK I think this is too much already... sorry sometimes I just can't stop talking.
Fantastic episode! I loved it when Tess told Gabe, "I picked a side, and it wasn't yours." But when Catherine slapped him in the face, that was priceless! I love Sendhil Ramamurthy but don't like Gabe, though I will say he hasn't disappointed me - I felt he was up to no good all along.
Gabe needs to go walk in front of a train. I can't believe we want everyone to turn on Vincent and join his side. Overall Cat and Mouse was a great episode. I love seeing Vincent and Cat work together. I'm also happy that Tess is now on team VinCat and not on team Gabe. I love it when she told Gabe off, twice.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Gabe seriously sucks!!!
ReplyDeleteEven I felt that slap.
ReplyDeleteCat should have punched him instead. more effective, but the slap was still pretty good. i loved Gabe's face after she slapped him lol he was so surprised when really he shouldn't. Gabe and her father are really stupid!!
ReplyDeleteLove it when Vincat work together. Even more dedicated to each other. Loving this show more and more

ReplyDeleteGreat action packed episode. Love Vincat working together. Gabe is the most hated guy rigth now. And Tess got the rigth side.
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode. I dont always want or need to see the romance part every ep., as long as Vincat work together. As V said they are better together than they are apart. ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I cheered out loud during that scene... I felt a little ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteGotta hand it to Sendil Ramamurthy, I good villain can make a show, and he delivers. I've been saying for a long time that Gabe has his own agenda. Voila! Slap! Also, the line of the night: "I'm sorry I hit you in the face with a chair." *sigh* Kristin...♥
ReplyDeleteseriously?? that was nearly everyone's fav scene lol! trust me it is not just u :) hehe

ReplyDeleteCat had to slap harder to Gabe. He is mean. Love KK kicking bad ass again. And wow Vincat working together. Awesome episode. #batb
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode of Beauty and the Beast (BatB) ... When VinCat work together nothing can stop them, not even Gabe.
ReplyDeleteLoved it too! Gabe has been going round for the past season and a bit panting "slap me, slap me, ohhh would someone please punch me in the face" and Cat finally obliged. Done by first time writer Amy Van Curen and a great episode! Really got the characters down and had a fast paced show with lots of twists today!
ReplyDeleteMagnifique .episode fantastique

ReplyDeleteI think the heel of her shoe would have been more appropriate, but the slap was a start and maybe later the heel will finish it.
ReplyDeleteI think she should've kicked her boot up a couple of times, and I think he would look good in ORANGE in jail with Reynolds.I feel the episode was all that it could be,lots of VinCat,a kiss once in awhile & Tess&JT helping them all the way,I liked VINCat working together,2 great minds getting what needs to be done for Vincent & Catherine to be together...absolutely loved the episode, can't wait for monday night again.

ReplyDeleteThis episode is very good, but I also don't understood why Cat say "I loved you" to Gabe - no sense. Really the writers could delete this part.
