  2. OMGGGGGGGGGGG, are Bellamy and Finn both dead????

BBQ'd Grounders, that was so AWESOME.

Jaha's sacrifice, the Ark coming down. It was so AWESOME.

And that ending, OMG. They are inside Mt Weather! And we don't know who those Mountain Men are.

All of it was just so Epic! Thank God it was renewed. We have to have season two NOW.

  3. Omg hope Bellamy and Finn aren't dead best action burning the grounders Jaha sacrifice was amazing kind wanted to see Jaha and Abby friendship turn into something more hope we still can even though he still in the ark can't believe they are being held inside Mt weather happy it's been renew for second season

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yeah, they are both dead...

    ReplyDelete
  5. What the hell just happened? That was a great finale, and I can't wait to see how that cliffhanger is resolved in season two.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I suspected that Abby would make it to the Ground.

I also thought we might see the Mountain Men in Season 2 since Lincoln mentioned them like two episodes ago. I had been suspecting that they were probably on Mount Weather since I assumed that was probably the closest mountain in the area. I wasn't expecting them to basically put them all in quarantine like that though.

I kind of doubt that they killed off Bellamy and Finn - but I guess we'll find out what happened to them in October.

    Speechless....

  8. FINN AND BELLAMY CANNOT BE DEAD PLEASE DON"T LET THEM BE THEY WOULD'VE SHOWN THEM RIGHT AND HOLY... THEY"RE BEING HELD AT MOUNT WEATHER DID NOT EXPECT THAT, HOW CAN THEY POSSIBLY HAVE TECHNOLOGY, I THOUGHT THAT'S WHERE ABBY AND KANE LANDED

    ReplyDelete
  9. Absolutely perfect. Did not expect that ending at all. Wonderfully done.
(but Bellamy better be f**king alive)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Omg, that was awesome, I was live tweeting and my Tumblr is going crazy, the cast is fantastic, but that finale, man, this is an awesome show!!! Oh confirmation of Bellarke happened on Twitter :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. um dude they're married. What friendship? It's sad the sacrificed himself. I kinda hope they find away for him to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Woah, that was an amazing finale.

I don't believe they would actually kill Finn AND Bellamy are dead. Possibly Finn, but certainly not Bellamy.

Jasper burning up all the Grounders and seeing their skeletons was so badass. Amazing special effects.

Jaha's sacrifice so that the Ark would come down to Earth was utterly heroic. I do wonder if he will have a storyline next season or if he is truly dead.

That final scene was just jaw dropping (There's Monty!). Looks like these Mountain Men are certainly more advanced in the terms of amount of technology that they have on Mount Weather than anyone else on Earth. I am very intrigued in finding out more about them next season.

There are going to be some big changes in season 2 for this show! I can't wait for it.

  13. The 100 are now lab rats. I don't think there's a simpler way to put it

    ReplyDelete
  14. That was so AWESOME! I'm dying for season 2, and I almost never feel that way when it's clear a show is mixing things up so that's it's a different environment. I wasn't expecting the mountain men to be so advanced at all and I can't wait for an explanation. Are they descendants of survivors or did they come down from the Ark? I think on Unity Day, they mentioned that the stations joined together after some kind of rebellion, so maybe they came down as a result of that? And did one of them recognize Clarke from the Ark or did Monty id everyone for them? Also, the 100 were told to go to Mt. Weather for supplies when they landed. Did Jaha know it was inhabited? Ugh, so damn excited for October.

Oh and I'm sure both Finn and Bellamy escaped into the woods while the grounders were distracted. My only question is whether they managed to avoid the mountain men or not.

Oh, and those writers seriously toyed with my emotions on the Ark. For a split second, I thought no one was going to have to be left behind.

    O...M...G!
The episode really blew my mind, especially the las minutes!
Jaha's sacrifice touched all kinds of emotional beats. I need to know if Bellamy and Finn are alive or not; my money is with them being alive (somehow escaped right in time before the fire caught them). I could accept that Finn dies, but Bellamy? Really hope he doesn't die.
    What a great finale

  16. Victoria Llanos12 June 2014 at 04:39

I have no words! I really don't! I mean, WOW!
The whole episode was amazing! I'm I the only one that thought of the reapers from Firefly and Serenity, when the reapers showed up? all full of pearcings and sort of disfigured... And I knew (and by that I mean I supposed) the mountain men were descendents from the soldiers that were stationed at Mount Weather when the bombs went off, but I did not expect then to be that advanced. I guess all of them being profficient in different áreas they passed on their knowledge from generation to generation so nothing was lost.
I hope both Finn and Bellamy were captured/saved by the mountain men in time, or that at least they managed to escape to the Woods.
I feel so bad fo Jaha! He did the right thing, he was after all responsable for the people in the ark, but his relationship with Abby always intrigued me and I hoped to see more of it in season 2, I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with him. And Kane and Abby! finally on the ground! I'm never thought they wouldn't make it, but still... it was awesome to watch it happen.
Ugh! I can't believe we have to wait till october! it's so far away!!!!
Now, this has to be one of the best finale's I've seen in a long time. I swear I had to remind myself on several ocations that this was in fact a CW show. This proves they actually can do quality television when they set up to it.

You can tell The 100 went full on budget with this episode, because it looks really cinematic, so they must have put a lot of money on it.
I can't wait to see what these guys do next season! This show should have better ratings (hopefully next fall it will have more viewers and people will catch up over the summer, after all it has been reviewed quite well over the internet)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Pablo Troncoso12 June 2014 at 04:47

I just realized that it all makes sense now! The Grounders attacked Jasper with the spear in the pilot because they thought he was a mountain man!
    Kudos writers!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah I too am hoping the show has more viewers when it comes back in October. Thankfully the CW is showing all 13 episodes from the beginning starting next week so more people have the chance to start watching it. (I'll most likely watch the show all over again just in case I missed anything important and because it's awesome.)

    ReplyDelete
  20. The Mountain Men, so makes sense on who they are. In the first episode they said there would be supplies in the Mount Weather. Those men must of knew of the impending attack and stayed in the Mountains all these times.

I suspected Monty saw them, and yup seems like they may have all of them under quarantine.

Finn and Bellamy are not dead. If you didn't see it, they used every second of the off screen time to get back in the tunnel/cave, dug a hole climbed a tree whatever escape there was they used it.

And now them 2 will likely be the 2 who will go searing for the 100 in the Mountains, or be there when The Ark survivors come by.

Raven dead or alive hmm, she was gonna die soon, but who knows if the Mountain Men saved her or not.
Octavia should be alright she with Doc Lincoln.

Its funny have Clarke says one thing but does the other in regard to Finn. ah love what is it but confusing.

The fight was good, seemed like both side leavers and the stayers got what they want. Tho I gotta ask how far did they really walk in the beginning when that song was playing, because they sure got back fast before loosing another head. Well most likely they didn't loose anymore head because of the Grounders plan to draw them back to their camp. The grounders used smart tactics, and I'm surprised they are still on the ground considering the Mountain Men and their Tech. I assume The Mountain Men were probably like the Ark stayed indoors most of the time, and came out for needs.

Its cool now that Abby and Kane and their Group are on the ground, Hopefully the elders will be able to build a better base. I'm sure they will began the search for the 100 right away. They landed in a pretty good spot.

    Look forward to next season.

  21. 97 years; so grandfather, father, and now current Mountain Men, are either Animal Farm military nuts by now, or were reminded of their original mission enough to be a positive player. Seems the writing is to make any large group on earth a villain though, so we'll see. That kind of tech and they didn't contact the Ark in all that time is suspect considering the Ark knew it was a depot. That implies same side but MM actions seem to have changed. Also they could have intercepted all communications between the hundred and as well with the ark so might explain knowing C Griffin names. Probably had camp under surveillance. Good or bad? Writers will have fun in October. Enjoy the summer!

    ReplyDelete
  22. They could be part of a split group who flew down post Unity Day, if so they would not recognize Clarke, they may have been spying on them like the Grounder maybe radio taping their communications with the ark so that's like the only reason they may no her from. Most likely all the 100 are at the mountain quarantine rooms.

OR they could be a group of people who escaped the Nuke whatever many years ago.

  23. also +1 on Starry Night painting.

  24. Unbelievable finale to close - out this new series that I really wasn't sure about at first.............OK I'm glad I stuck around! Let's count the ways shall we (No Spoilers.............much).
    - the "Battle Royale" battle scene between the factions was awesome!
    - Anya is a "Warrior Queen" with no give - up or yield in her..........fan of the actress and the character!
    - Jaha................foolish in ideals, but noble to the end.
    - more Raven is a good thing and leader of the 100 is even better.
    - Bellamy really transitioned these last episodes from a 2 dimensional "Hero Figure" to a character I can care about (Fighter for the 100/Big Brother to Octavia).
    - "Heads - Up Trivia" fellow posters! Joseph Gatt who plays Tristan (the new Grounders Lead) is/was the Thenn Warg in "Thrones" 4th season. Just thought you (all) should know!
    - Grounders, Reapers, and now Mountain Men..................how many factions are on this "Post - Nuked" Earth?
I really enjoyed the last several episodes of this series. The writing really came on towards the end. In the immortal words of Cpl. Hudson from James Cameron's ALIENS "..............GAME OVER MAN!", (am I the only one who caught that line?) until season 2 begins! 4 THE 100 AND ONE, I will remain Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ya the I said the same of the reapers being similar to the Reavers from Firefly last episode. They stalled for a bit, but I'm sure we will see them again as pest later on.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Excellent episode, epic and with a very interesting cliffhanger, I liked it a lot.

And what hell is the Mountain Men, I wanna to see this people. Can't wait for season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  27. THAT was awesome! I hope both Finn and Bellamy survived. This show is reminding me more and more of Lost with this new discoveries but gladly without some of the supernatural ridiculousness. Can't wait for next season. This has turned out to be one of the best new shows.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My guess is they managed to slip away to where they knew the fire wouldn't get them.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Watching two battles at the same week is not good for health. That's for sure.(GoT-The 100)

It was a very good episode and Bellamy and Finn surely survived, it's not even a cliffhanger for me. Probably they got into tunels right before the explosion. Monty thing what was I expecting. I thought the people who took Monty will come at the end of the battle, either it will be help or make it worse for the 100 and it made it worse at the end. I hope next season comes in October, or else waiting will be hard.

  30. It's a Vincent van Gogh, the background will probably be that they stored all kinds of art there to preserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Technology is knowledge and materials. If you have that if you create anything.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Joseph Gatt is also about to be in Teen Wolf. Lots of back and forth with actors from CW and MTV, like Colton Haynes from Teen Wolf to Arrow, and Adelaide Kane from Teen Wolf to Reign, and Kathryn Prescott from Reign to Finding Carter. Plus Gage Golightly from Ringer to Teen Wolf and back to the failed pilot Company Town. Just thought that was interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  33. As long as Raven is alive, I'm good. I'll take whatever on everything else.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Jaha was ready to die weeks ago. He wanted to sacrifice himself so that there would be more air for the others. I think that after finding out Wells was dead he sort of lost his will to live for himself and just really wanted to try and help the people who were left on the Ark. So I thought him sacrificing himself was really a continuation of that same storyline. If Jaha hadn't done it, I think Kane would have because he got up and really was ready to to head to the control center and stay behind to die. I'm not sure if we'll see Jaha again next season or not though.

We've so far only seen a small area of the Earth - the area where the 100 landed (and we know there's at least three groups there - Mountain Men, Grounders, Reapers). But Lincoln was talking about a fourth group of people across some body of water - which is where he was planning on heading. We have no idea if the rest of the world is the same way or not because we've only seen a pretty small geographic area thus far.

    ReplyDelete
  35. And you forgot Daniel Sharman from Teen Wolf to Originals :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. that was...i don't know, amazing!
i expected a lot of the season final and it was still more! x3 i can't probably say how much i loved this episode. i mean, oh my gosh. what was that?! :D
i tough the 'mountain man' we're like the grounders but no there totally not.! there from mount wather, and i think they know who the 100 are, 'cause at the end scene was written C.Griffen when we saw trough the camara.
i'm still so shocked, about the hole episode,it was absolutely amazing! x33
i really really hope that bellamy is still alive!
next season is going to be sooo good! and this season was already unbelievable good *__*

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think that Lincoln circled back and saved them.

    ReplyDelete
  38. FINNN!!!! How could they?!(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

    ReplyDelete
  39. i think finn died and bellamy survived because bob morley was with jason rothenberg on discussing second season plot, tomas mcdonell wasnt(

    ReplyDelete
  40. I wouldn't put too much meaning in it. Maybe it's just their schedule didn't match yet or writers could be playing with the fans. Finn is an important character, if they didn't kill off Wells earlier this season maybe I would say something different but in this case I don't expect Finn to die in this early stage.

    ReplyDelete
  41. till October, i've heard

    ReplyDelete
  42. wait what just happened :o
Congrats for the finale, very well done!
    just wow.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I´m not exactly crazy about this show. I love the idea of them coming back to earth, but I think the storyline has been very bumpy, and I proberly would have stopped watching the show if it wasn´t summertime (=less tv shows). But I love the finale. I´m gonna have to watch next season aswell. :-)
Finn and Bellamy are basicly the only two characters I like, so I really hope they both survive.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes I know, I thought I'd mention the title. The choice though implies a knowledge that they are from orbit not earth, otherwise go with Fields of Poppies ;)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Here's Jasper come to save the daayyy

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wow, that was such a great finale, I am at loss for words. The last few minutes repeatedly made me say "WTF".

I hope Raven lives, she is badass and I need more of her. And I am sure both Finn an Bellamy can't be dead. Really waiting to see what Mountain Men do with The 100 (well the 50) and how the ark people get back with the kids. Thank God the show returns in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thomas McDonell was at the CW up fronts and was promoting the show with Eliza in Spain 2 days ago , so most likely he is not dead same as Bob M.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just one word: Awesome! The Finale really was as good as promised. Thanks J.R. for not killing off anyone from the main cast, 50 unknown faces dead I can live with. Does that sound awful? I was oddly relieved that Kane made it. And I still think Jaha gets a ride down to earth from Diana. Don't kill off Raven, please! Maybe Abby will save her ? Raven has found her place in the group, and the awkward moments between Clarke and her were funny not in a bad way. The love triangle is gone, no need to kill her off.

No need to enumerate all the other perfect scenes, every character got his/her moments, it was balanced and the very well crafted. October can not be soon enough, and I am hoping for 22 episodes, I trust J.R. that he can pull it off to make Season 2 even better than the first.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm sure Bellamy and Finn are both alive - they're just 'cliffhung'. I suspected the"Mountain Men" came from "Mount Weather" and also suspected they had 'tech'. We know they took Monty now. One of my questions is are the MM advanced enough medically to help Raven survive and walk again.

I also think Abby/Kane's section of the Ark landed on the "other side" of 'Mount Weather' from the area 'The 100' landed.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Of the CW Finales I've seen (SPN/Arrow/TO/TVD/Reign/HoD/TTP) IMO The 100's was by far the most dramatic and this comes from a huge SPN fan.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Aah, I thought you didn't know that cause I somehow failed to recognise that you had written the translation of the title :P

    ReplyDelete
  52. i saw photos from spain, but being on the upfront and discussing season 2 with producer = two different things. being on that cw upfront doesnt mean anything, he promotes the show, his personage was alife in season 1 so why not? if tomas was invited on cw's next year uprfont - that would mean anything. bellamy survived 100% i dont understand why ppl r worrying, he was comparatively far from camp and could go through the tunnels or run, finn was left behind without any gun or knife with Tristan, he was near explosion epicenter, he had to kill Tristan SOMEHOW and after that RUN away but there was no enough time for that, several minutes after the door was closed blast happened so no a single chance for finn imo. i'm a fan of finn , i'm seriously pissed by that decision to kill him but i must admit horrible trouth - there's no logical way he could teleport himself

    ReplyDelete
  53. Rothenberg tweets every discussion, jasper is more minor personage than finn imo but he was with rothenberg, tomas wasnt. i doubt there was no an hour or two for tomas to discuss his job.i really hope u r right but can u tell me at least one real way for finn to survive? only if trustan has sudden heart attack and dies and then poof teleporter appeares.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I can tell you only one good reason. It's Bellamy. Bellamy would never leave anyone behind because he got the character develeopment. So if he survived then Finn survived too unless writers force situation to kill Finn. Because as we left them they took down the grounder and both had time to run and they were very close to the tunnels.

Also If you ask me, don't really make a big deal of meetings. They are meeting with writers one by one. Maybe he'll meet in the future. Just because he didn't meet yet it doesn't mean he'll never meet.

    ReplyDelete
  55. i really hope you are right, i really do, there's no much hope though...

    ReplyDelete
  56. I wonder why people from mount wether didnt come to meet the 100, i'm sure they saw their first launch, they knew the place where they landed and could come to them, they were scared to meed reapers and grounders? they have technics, guns, sleeping gas) why they waited for so long? they watched 3 teams (grounders-reapers-the100) killing each othergame and pupped up only in the end of buttle in order not to risk much? thats pretty lame. Jason Rothenberg alls those mountain ppl "new big evil" <--- oO i thought they could be friends to the 100.. am i too naive?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Finn went to Bellamy to help him, so they were close proximity to each other and both got away through the tunnels, which Finn also used to get in after he got the medicine from Lincoln. That is the way I saw it, no teleporting needed.

Additionally, Thomas is in the CW Sizzle Reel video which promotes the upcoming shows of the CW for the TV Season 2014/2015, to me that is a big hint that he still lives in Ep.201.

    ReplyDelete
  58. He cant get a ride from Diana as he is the only one on the ark station , and Diana took the exodus ship down and presumably died.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Did I miss something? Diana's fate is not confirmed, right? Nor do we know for sure where the exodus ship is..

    ReplyDelete
  60. he was in madrid with eliza. for that con. He is also the male lead and is only outranked by Eliza and Paige (Abby). Finn ain't going anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Of the two, Bellamy was in worse shape. I don't know why you are so worried about Finn. He's fine. They aren't going to kill a character that they spent so much time and effort in creating. Also the way JAson speaks of him. As for the writers room, they prob just dropped by. Actors are usually sent scripts and spend little time interacting with writers in that way.

    ReplyDelete
  62. It could have been the Exedus ship but it also might have been just parts from the Arc, we don't know ... so I am toying with ideas how to save Jaha. Though it might be realistic for him to die in space, I still don't want him to die.. Where is the funny apprentice of Sinclair, hope he made it? As far as I can tell, only Abby, Kane and Sinclair made it to the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't want Jaha to die either , if your talking about Jackson he was in a separate compartment , he was in the same one as jaha.

    ReplyDelete
  64. In a word: PERFECTION!

I mean wow, the action was non-stop, the acting was phenomenal, that part where Clarke was watching people get slaughtered actually hit me pretty hard im not ashamed to say :P
The only finale that was better for me was Teen Wolf :)

And can we take a moment to appreciate the CGI! It was fantastic! I really hope they don't get a budget cut for season 2.

Also, and im totally getting ahead of myself here, but has anyone ever watched an episode and thought "wow, that would make a great spinoff". It has so much spinoff potential (The Grounders, The Ark, other survivors elsewhere on Earth, the war leading up to the nuclear apocalypse...etc).

    ReplyDelete
  65. EuphemiaWonderland12 June 2014 at 23:43

Both Bob and Thomas were at the upfronts so they are coming back. My guess is that Abby and Kane will find them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. EuphemiaWonderland12 June 2014 at 23:44

The actor who plays Jaha is confirmed as a regular for S2 so I hope he finds a way to get to earth.

    ReplyDelete
  67. He must do if he is confirmed for season 2 then, as during the episode Sinclair mentioned he only had around 1-2 weeks of air left.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Season 1 has been like...this episode is the best every episode I have seen! This one was no different :) The entire story line has been a joy to watch, all of it, the action, drama, romance, the moral dilemmas. Can't wait for season 2. May we meet again!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Even though Isiah W. is confirmed for Season 2 that does not mean he will not die in Season 2. Jason R. said in one of his last interviews that he had been criticized for lately not killing off someone from the main cast just the faces with no names. So I guess Jaha and Raven could be victims early in the season 2 ... I certainly hope not. He also said he loves all his characters, and I am holding on to that. My theory is that the Mountain men did not take Raven with them and Abby will save her...

Thanks for the name Jackson, J.R. also said more than one drop ship got to the ground, so there is hope!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I was wondering if they filmed an alternative ending? I mean if they had not gotten the renewal, a DVD might have sold better with another ending...

    ReplyDelete
  71. LOL ... Jaha and Abby are most certainly not married to each other! =P

    ReplyDelete
  72. Good, that they did not make Clarks feelings for Finn disapear in thin air, thats good writing ;-) and good to see that she values Bellamy.

As most I'm guessing that Bellamy and Finn are alive: either being captured and/or then trying to find the others. Hope they will team up with Abby and Kane. Glad the two made it. Would be interseting to see the shift in socety when the "Arke" and 100 reunite. The "Kids" have grown up. The "Ark" storyline was the most touching for me. Loved the teamwork (Bellamy, Finn, Clark). Either way, I hope to see some bromance/frenemy between the two guys.

The Mountain Man - I did not expect it, but it did not surprise me either. I had already some theories there might be somewhere advanced tech people underground. Maybe because of the Tower in Revolution. What I really liked they did not leave the fate of the guys for the last scene but moved on with the plot.

At the moment I have two theories for the MM: they are not that bad and decontaminating the Kids to bring them down to their people. They were so isolated that any jerms etc. outsiders would bring in would kill them and/or (I think somebody else wrote this also) they are in contact with Diana. Either way they have been in contact with somebody on the Ark. The Mountain Man have been doing experiments on people, result would be the Reapers - but thats very Firefly.

Now I am really looking forward to all storylines. Regarding the Ark sometimes I was so and so.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I believe this is strongly conected to their suits and the decontamination room Monty and Clark were in.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yes..... I caught the PRIVATE Hudson reference!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think the look they Finn had said that he knew that she was going to blow the rocket fuel and he probably did his best to grab Bellamy and get away from the blast. I could see them meeting up with Clarke's mom and her group to try and rescue the rest of the 100. That could be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  76. That would make sense since The Grounders while they are a barbaric don't seem that animalistic to attack another human being like that for no reason and then tie them up in the woods. But if they thought he was part of another known group of hostiles then it would make total sense. After all Lincoln seems very reasonable and the Grounder woman seemed at least partly willing to discuss peace until Jasper went crazy and started shooting at her archers in the trees. Yes, yes, it was against the terms she set but its not like the 100 honored them either, that's why he was there with a gun in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Pablo Troncoso14 June 2014 at 05:02

well, Dollhouse had Epitaph on the first season DVD, so maybe. It would be interesting to see what kind of wrap up could they have gone with it in case The 100 crashed in the ratings
