sometimes i forget that these are just kids dealing with life-or-death situations, i knew that they were going to use the ark to get to the ground from the beginning so yay
About to see it, but WOW! 96% awesome? That's great :D, only one vote for awful, 1 for great and everything else for awesome! I'm sure it's amazing, I just have to see it now!
Very good episode, though I do wonder whether things are accelerating too quickly to be sustainable. Bringing the Ark down is pretty bold, but there's no going back now.
I guess the Reapers are cannibals? I like that we're expanding the world. We found at a bit more about Grounder society in this episode and Lincoln last week mentioned the Mountain Men - I expect them to maybe show up next season.
Lincoln returned as a thought he would. The boy sure loves his girl. Either way he made it so Finn and Clarke make it out. Glad Finn got the book, I feel like there is still more in the book to be learned from.
I always thought there were other groups of Grounder so higher boss coming in to take over the place for Anya just confirmed that. Now to one day learn are there more Commanders or just 1.
We also have the Mountain Men, who along with maybe Sydney's group are the 2 groups I suspect may have Monty.
Reapers are most likely the crazier grounders who kill anyone and eat anything. They kind of reminded me of Reavers from Firefly.
Finn says Love Ya, Clarke basically goes I'm over it. Well whatever do what you want. Unless new characters later get between them in a good way, they 66% are end game. But enough about that already back to the story.
I think given their current situation of the Grounders attack incoming, and their only means of fighting is limited ammo, and first wave killing mines. Its a really good idea to leave camp and travel to a new land. They will loose their Home Base, but what good is that place is they have to stay in Castle form without supplies and fear of the outside. Maybe if they do go to this new camp by maybe nice grounders by the sea, they can even out the playing field a bit, for a while anyway, Cuz I'm sure there will be more bads of various types on the way.
Seems like the Arc is coming down Crash landing style. Only other way and seems right now to just do that bring them down after the Sydney incident who just left the Arc to die.
I like Finn's declaration of love. I mean, I am a romantic, but what I loved more was Clarke's very smart decision to say no. He had made his choice WHILE loving Clarke. A smarter man (in my personal opinion) who feels feels for 2 women, picks neither of them. If Finn wouldn't have gone with Raven or Clarke, he would have preserved Clarke's respect and Raven wouldn't have felt as bitter as she feels now. He'd be giving not only himself some time but both girls some time as well. Either way, that didn't happen. But Clarke said no! :D And I don't have a ship with either guys. I like Clarke alone. This show isn't about picking a dude to bone and love, it's about survival. However, romance is a part of life, even in this universe, and if I were to ship a couple, it'd be with Bellamy. I like who she is and who he is when they are together. They are both leaders and support each other well.
Same here! He didn't treat her right. Broke her heart. Unfortunatley I think the writers will put them together at some point. I'd rather it not happen, but if it does it needs to be a while from now. Finn thought since Raven broke up with him he could run straight to Clarke.
I was a bit confused as to how he broke her heart. I thought Clarke pretty much admitted she didn't know Finn and it was a one night stand.
Finn telling Clarke he was in love with her was very out of nowhere for me. I knew he liked her and all but I missed him falling in love with her. Did that happen off-screen?
I have some of the time it's just some people vote that the episode is bad and they've never seen it. Every episode of The 100 is better than the last the only bad thing about it is that it's only 13 episode when I wish there were 24.
I liked the scenes except for Finn-Clarke scenes and episode was nearly great but I didn't enjoy the pilot. Everything happened exactly like I predicted. Murphy-Bellamy pay off, Lincoln's helping Clarke's escape. I'm a little disappointed as well. I wanted Clarke to escape herself without any help but it made sense and it was what i predicted so can't criticize it. Still voted for great episode. But sooner or later this Clarke-Finn scenes will drive me away if they continue like this. And her rejection actually doesn't mean anything in my book, it's just what Clarke does.
It was an intense episode for sure! I feel like Bob Morley really shined in this episode. We saw Bellamy really "unhinged" because Clarke was missing. Even the creator said that he was feeling the loss of Clarke. She "grounds" him and calms him. Without her, he can't fully function as a leader. That was interesting to watch. At the beginning of the episode, he looked "lost." And when Clarke came back at the end of the episode, he was suddenly able to give an inspirational speech. I love that Bellamy and Clarke truly depend on each other. They need each other to lead their people. I love that they "balance" each other in a powerful way.
Yes, I'm a Bellarke fan. I love them together. And I'm hoping for a romance with them in season 2. They are the true leaders of their people. And there is something so special about their connection and chemistry.
I cannot wait for episode 13. I've heard and read amazing things about episode 13! Only 1 more week, and then the summer hiatus!
I kind of expected more, Murphy's plan was pure revenge, I hoped he would work things out with Bellamy. I'd have liked to keep Murphy around in the camp. The show can use more than one strong male character on the ground. I certainly hope that Finn gets more of a storyline in Season 2. Now he has killed, too, which is kind of important for his character. I am looking forward to more Finn scenes, whether he is with Clarke or not.
I like the Clarke-Finn scenes, and Clarke did not say that she did not love him just that she is mad and hurt. I don't think this is the end of it. I know this point of view will Bellamy shippers make angry. But looking at the bigger picture of the show a Bellamy Clarke set up would ruin the shows dynamic. It is a CW show, so no couple stays happy for long no matter if it is Clarke/Finn or Clarke/Bellamy, so better get used to it. Bellamy and Clarke on the same side is taking away the thrill, this episode showed it better that ever, there was no chemistry it was just plain boring.
I hope they don't kill of Raven, but it would be a logical choice for the plot. Despite her technical skills, they made her all about Finn. She should have dumped him the minute she found out and moved on. Arc scenes in this episode were kind of slow and did not match the action of the ground, which felt weird and out of balance.
Amazing episode! I did find Finns proposal to have the worst timing ever, maybe they should've waited for that. Specially if they were trying to save their people on time. The Ark scenes were pretty cool, I hope most of them make it.
no bellarke scenes for the 90% of d ep and they came in the end and made up for it. I LOVED IT. what i love about bellamy, is that he may care for clarke, but he still thinks before he makes a decision an doesnt let his feelings cloud his judgement (for now). i love that type of love.
Not such a fan of this episode, I don't get the hype. There are other episodes I rewatched as soon as I finished them. But this one! :-( Murphy was great but predictable, I would have liked it better if Murphy and Bellamy somehow worked it out. That would have been a great twist. Bellamy's speech was better in the promo, Clarke was not that convincing . And Bellamy only deciding to look for Clarke, Finn and Monty after the others saved him, real classy! Finn gets the bad timing award, and he is one of my favorite characters!! But there is hope for his character, apparently they all have to get their hands bloody in this show and now he did, too. Hopefully the writers expand him a little in Season 2.
I am more addicted to this show I care to admit, so I still voted great, and I will be on the edge of my seat next Wednesday.
One of the best of this awesome season, the ark and the earth scenes are great. Can't wait to see more of the reapers and more of the plan to put ark on earth.
I really loved this episode. That two headed horse part was so cool! And the reapers were awesome to see as well. I loved Finn's line; "I love you, I'm IN love with you", I liked how it showed the difference between the two. Such a well written and acted show, its brilliant across the board! Can't wait for the finale and season 2 :)
Having 13 episodes is better IMO bc that way you can tell more stories each season with 13 episodes then having 22 episodes where we have a beginning middle and ending of a story line and have filler episodes in between causing ratings to drop.
I admit some shows can pull off 22-24 episodes but some are only meant for 13 episodes.
I really loved that line too. I knew these two were in love but it was nice hearing it confirmed Finn with his " I'm in love with you" and Clarke with her "you broke my heart" you can't break someone's heart unless they have given it to you. I love these two, they're very heavy-handed but still a great story/romance.
It seems Finn is one of those people who fall in love very fast. I don't think he truly loves her. Of course they are feelings involved but he is confusing attraction with love.
why want this a twio hours episode, freaking damed! I hope that the Arc survives that landing, and things on the ground are really fuc**d up nor we have cannibalism damnnnn! WHERE DA HEL IS MONTY?
Excellent episode! Let's review (No Spoilers............much). There are at least two types of "Grounders" that the "100" have to watch for. - first Lincoln's people (who look like extras from a "Mad Max" movie. - then there are the "Reapers" aka "The Hills Have Eyes" group of crazies providing carnage and CANNIBALISM! - so Murphy is a @$$#0L3................NEW INFORMATION PLEASE! - if the "Ark" can't fly then it can't land...........just saying people. - is it just me or is Lincoln the Richard B. Riddick of the "100" series? - Bellamy should be in charge of the "100's" security/defense (he's a fighter), but Raven should be the "100's" leader...............not Clark! - is it just me or does every time Clark speaks it sounds like the sentence will end with ".........and the morale to the story is........"? Raven, Anya, Lincoln, and Murphy (after this episode) are the most interesting characters to me. Looking forward to next week and part 2 of the "100" finale! 4 THE 100 AND ONE, I will remain Nobody!!!
My best guess is that the "Mountain Men" come from the region around the 'Supplies in the Mountain' Clarke/Finn/Jasper/Octavia and Monty were trying to reach in the Pilot but they never got to it because Jasper was speared by a 'Grounder'.
I liked this episode but, like last week, it felt a lot like a set up episode. Sure there was a lot of chaos and things happening but in the grand scheme of things we're still exactly where we were last week and the week before, waiting for the Grounders to attack.
I'm wondering if The Mountain Men are just another brand of regular Grounders? Like Lincoln and Anya and co are "Forest Men" and the guy that was sent to take over from Anya and kill The 100 may be from The Mountain Men group. Maybe that's what Lincoln meant when he mentioned them a few episodes ago. He knows how the whole system works, there's someone at the top commanding all these different groups or units of Grounders and he knew that stopping Anya's group would only lead to another, apparently more ruthless, group being sent to do the job?
My guess is that the mountain men are the ones who live in the camp of Mount Wheather, and Anya and her followers fear them bc they have some kind of technology from the camp. The writers are throwing quite some new things at us at the last minute. Lots of things we can speculate about over the summer. I would like to know if Anya and Lincoln have some kind of history? and why do we need reapers, that was just gross! J.R. promised no Bigfoot!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This show never going to disappoint me this is amazing! omg next week going to be insaneeeeeee
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've seen a poll with all the same votes! Episode was so amazing I'm still in awe, can't wait for next week.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that's all I have to say
ReplyDeletesometimes i forget that these are just kids dealing with life-or-death situations, i knew that they were going to use the ark to get to the ground from the beginning so yay
ReplyDeleteSoo so good. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! I really enjoy all the characters, even crazy Murphy.
ReplyDeleteClarke is such an amazing female lead. I lvoe her more and more with each episode.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's amazing, I just have to see it now!

ReplyDeleteReapers are scary.
ReplyDeleteMurphy will probably pop up again at some point. When exactly did he shoot Raven? She just showed up injured.
They'll get The Ark down, but who knows who will live. Next week's ep is going to be so intense.
raven was shot when murphy shot the floor randomly to kill octavia and upset bellamy
ReplyDeleteMurphy shot Raven when while she was trying to open the door, he shot through some kind of air duct I think, and then he immediately hanged Bellamy
ReplyDeleteThe promo for the finale looked insane!!!!!!!! The show is surely going out with a bang!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great freshman season :)
AWESOME, so glad that Clarke said no to Finn!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLincoln returned as a thought he would. The boy sure loves his girl. Either way he made it so Finn and Clarke make it out.

Yup seems like they keeping Murphy as the on his own bad dude who returns every so often to piss us off.

ReplyDeleteP.S: Love Clarke's decision about Finn! Hate that love triangle crap :D
Can someone elaborate on what Finn and Clarke saw? Finn says guards, and the scene cuts to a view of something but I couldn't make it out.
ReplyDeleteWhere for art thou Monty? Why did they not mention him as someone to rescue, or go look for?
no bellarke scenes for the 90% of d ep and they came in the end and made up for it.

ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see Bellamy/Jasper/Raven bonding in a friendship way. Raven is founding her place with the group without Finn so I hope they keep her.
I'm so glad Clarke said no to Finn. I love how this show has more realistic reactions than most of the non sci-fi/fantasy shows out there.
