  1. This choice is hard for me simply because there were so many great scenes. While I am tempted to vote for the ark with Jaha volunteering and him watching the earth below, I think I'm sticking with Bellamy letting Octavia leave with Lincoln after she saves his life. These two have come a long way as far as character development goes and this scene showed that fruition.

  2. I voted for the qaurantine scene if only for shock value, after all I was rendered speechless, mount open and all. My second favourite one is Jaha toasting to Abby and Kane making to earth, it was oddly moving. It's so very hard to choose only two, If I could I would vote for most of the episode, lol!

  3. Clarke telling Bellamy they can't do without him!!!!!!

    1. Bellamy tells Octavia his life started the day she was born and that they will see each other again.
    2. Clarke wakes up in the Quarantine Ward.
    3. Clarke tells Bellamy they can't do it without him
    4. The ark breaks apart.

  5. Blake siblings for the win! But I loved the whole episode.

  6. The ending does give them a whole new setup for the next season. It was a great way to go.

  7. Agreed. The Blakes had some great scenes throughout this season and it was good to see them reconciling here at the end. I wonder if Octavia and Lincoln will stage a rescue next season.

  8. For me, Jaha saving everyone was big. It was so tragic that he had to stay behind alone.

  9. I think we'll definitely get to see Bellamy and Octavia reunited again, but probably not till toward the end of next season. One of the story arcs is supposed to be alot of Octavia and Lincoln with other Grounders, so we'll get to learn more about others who are out there.

I agree, there were so many amazing scenes in this ep, it's very hard to choose just one as a favorite.

  10. I really don't know. So many great scenes! Thinking, thinking... Gotta rewatch the episode.

  11. Three scenes, I can't pick one.
    Clarke pleads with Bellamy.
Octavia Bellamy hug and talk and Bellamy trusts Lincoln with Octavia's life.
Kane steps ahead to make the heroic sacrifice.

  12. One choice is very difficult, as the entire finale was my Favorite Scene! lol
    Was an Amazing Ep!

    1) Lincoln/Finn bring the Reapers
    2) Lincoln/Octavia/Bellamy scene
    3) Mountain Men/C.Griffin(Clarke)/Quarantine/MONTY
    4) Abby sees Earth up close
    5)Raven/Clarke ("I'd pick you")

*Side Note: Anyone think that Finn and Bellamy are in the "Tryst Bunker?" that Finn & Clarke where in?

  13. That was such a great ending, a complete game changer. I just wish we didn't have to wait four months...

  14. So many great scenes, the Ark Falling, The fire, the fight between the Reapers and The Grounders and that final scene damnnn...

  15. oh... I've forgotten who they are o_o

  16. I voted for the Resident Evil-esque ending in the white room. Just amazing.

  17. I would totally watch an entire series based around Lincoln and what he knows of the rest of the world, so I love the idea that we'll see Octavia and Lincoln living in a grounder world. To be honest, the grounders and the outside world are my favorite mystery in The 100.

  18. Could be worse and there will be more episodes next season so that's something to look forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes, Bellamy and Octavia Blake. Their sibling relationship is my favorite on the show, although I also look forward to Abby reuniting with Clarke.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Agreed. Such a sacrifice but as soon as they said someone would have to stay behind, I knew it would be him. Such a shame because I would love to see how he would respond to The 100's leadership structure. Plus he was a good character.

  21. Ha! I'm going to rewatch again in a couple of days for Last Week in TV. It really was a great finale and well setup for season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maybe they'll surprise us and Jaha will find a way to survive and make it down to Earth. I'm kind of hoping.

    ReplyDelete
  23. It will be interestingto see if Bellamy and Finn are locked up in Mount Weather too. I really hope they are not because I think they need more scenes together. Since Clarke is no longer Bellamy's antagonist (and neither are near as interesting now for me to be honest), Finn has taken that place. I would like to see how they respond to each other when they have to depend on each other for survival despite having such different viewpoints about everything. Plus if they know where the others have been taken to, they will have to try some sort of rescue and get allies, which would play to their different strengths.

  24. The pacing in this episode was much better due to the high octane finish. The reapers and grounders fight was particularly brutal. I just wish we had seen the scene where Lincoln and Finn were able to persuade them to come without killing them. I think the Lincoln/Finn combination of persuasion would have been awesome.

  25. I love how they tied the mythology from the premiere in to the finale. That's great continuity and it jumps starts my interest for season 2 because the game has completely changed now.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ha! I knew that Lincoln was going to come out alright because it's the CW, even if it is a darker version of it. However, I think Jaha has some major obstacles to overcome unless the Ark circle is magically knocked into earth's orbit before he runs out of air. Yeah, I just don't see it, especially when they didn't find a way to save Wells. I really, really miss Wells.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I still think it was a mistake to kill Wells, but we can now see how it ties into Jaha's sacrifice.

  28. I really love all the scenes listed but for the best was the ending with Clarke and Monty at Mount Weather. It was epic. That's the story line I'm most excited about for next season.

Some scenes I loved that didn't make this list:
Clarke's inspiring Bellamy. Saying he inspires that group and that they need him. Beautiful moment,
The slow-motion walk of everyone walking through the forest leaving their home. :(
The little bonding moments between Raven and Clarke. "I'd pick you" Surprised that didn't make the poll, because I've been seeing everyone talk about how much they love that scene and hope they become friends.

  29. This is very difficult to choose, but I went with Abby opening the ship and describing Earth to Jaha. But there were so many other great scenes! Fantastic episode!

  30. Thanks:)
I really thought we'd see them reunite in the end of the season finale..
I guess that can wait till October.. ( I hope they see each other again in the season premiere )

  31. To me, it looked like they just made the Reapers chase them and led them to the fight. I don't think the Reapers would have let them talk at all before trying to kill them. Based on the previous episode anyway

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yes ... when Finn asked Lincoln how he'd survived the reapers, Lincoln said he outran them. So that is essentially what Finn and Lincoln did ... go to the reapers, provoke them into an attack and then run back to camp as fast as possible with the reapers following them. When Finn and Lincoln reached camp, they had to get out of sight and out of the line of "fire" between the grounders and the reapers.

    ReplyDelete
  33. That makes a whole lot of sense. Guess it's a good thing they can run fast and the reapers didn't have spears of anything.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Agreed. The only positive thing to come from killing off Wells was the character development of others that came from it. Still, I wish he were around.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That scene was so beautiful and yet so haunting. To watch Jaha hear what he gave up was heartbreaking.

    ReplyDelete
  36. So difficult, I already watched it three times, so many epic scenes! Fantastic episode of a great first season. I am a sucker for shows with action on the CW, this lured me more in than Arrow. I cannot decide between those 3:
    1. Sibling love and Lincoln
    2. Kane trying to make the sacrifice - found that more gripping than Jaha actually doing it
    3. Finn going to save Bellamy, loved that he went despite their difference and his slight nod to Clarke when he looked at her the last time, signaling that she should save herself and the others.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I also found the scene with Kane resolute, walking through the crowd, who knows of the sacrifice he is about to make, more compelling than seeing Jaha in the control room. I think Jaha's more powerful scene was at the end when he's looking at earth from the Ark, knowing he will never see what Abby described but also knowing that he helped his friends get there.

    ReplyDelete
  38. So true, but somehow I am not that worried about Jaha. I think they find a way to get him to the ground too. But J.R. said some people complained that after Wells, he hasn't really killed a main character, so he might follow through with it in season 2 just to contradict that. But when I saw Kane walking, I really did not want to see him go. Apparently, I care more about Kane and Abby than Jaha, which astonished me, I wasn't aware that I have a preference.

    And BTW, where is Wick?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think J.R. hinted exactly that in one his interviews for Season 2, not confirming that they are alive but that there is going to be a rescue team for Clarke, Monty etc. and others building a new station. And Bellamy and Finn would be the logically choice to be ones doing the rescue. Maybe Lincoln it joining the team, I would love to see that interaction.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think this is the hardest episode to choose a scene. My fav was Abby stepping out of the scene. It was the one happy scene. Loved Clarks pep talk. And now that the triangle seems more or less over I also really enjoyed Finns scene.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It is great to see the siblings evolving, Lincoln is one of the characters story i am also looking forward to see and octavia going with him gibts us an in. But i just can't fully warm up to her, on paper their farewell would have been my favorite, now it is"just" an important one.

    ReplyDelete
  42. For mehr it. Would be:
    5.
    3.
    1.
    2.
    Reapers and Grounders Face off

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think the love triangle is over, Clarke-Raven scene showed that it was more of a pride thing already than heartbreak. Friendship Clarke and Raven is unique and sincere, on the rim of being unrealistic to be honest, but an asset for the show. I just hope they don't kill Raven off, just to be dramatic. Agreed, totally enjoyed Finn scenes, they finally gave his character a boost and lots of potential for season 2.
