    I could have sworn I already saw these pictures, but maybe I saw them on the original site. Looks like Caliban's bride might be the actress, Brona is still dying, Dorian is still walking in that mirrored hallway to gaze at his picture, Ethan's past has finally caught up with him, Mr. Lyle and Madam Kali are back- I wonder if there's more to them than we originally thought (maybe they're bad) but I just want that scene with Malcolm and Vanessa hugging! I'm worried Sir Malcolm's teary face is because Mina is dead rather than rescued.

    OK Brona is dying but did you see the picture at the end where VF is uncovering someone's face and it looks like a woman, there is another picture where Ethan looks awkwardly terrified. OMG this will be the last episode until next year, Im enjoying this show so much and we will have lots of cliffhangers I bet.

    Ummm I don't know it would be too obvious his obsession with the actress, maybe just a thought, he would want that and VF will give him Brona, and since he is a naughty boy that will be another reason to be upset at his creator. And about the show been slow, that's the thing, I love the slow burning this is more of a psychological thriller than action, that's what I like about it, you don't know what's going on and those WTF moments, about Mina, we don't want to know about her just yet, Im enjoying Sir Malcolm as well, and if the mystery over Mina surfaces whats the point of the whole show. I don't think they rushed anything, the show was filmed since last year, IMO it will leave a lot of unresolved things until next season which will be from 10-15 episodes not confirmed yet. :)

    And Brona being the Bride isn't obvious? People have been calling that one since the moment they knew she had Consumption. Either way, can't wait to see what happens with Victor and Caliban and if the rest of the gang ever find out about any of that.

    I do love the slow burn of the show, not so much the lack of character development (Sembene) or loose threads that I'm not sure will be resolved (whereabouts of Mr. Ives and Mrs. Murray, for example, how Mina was taken, where Jonathan is, etc).

    They claim that the search for Mina will be resolved this season, dunno if it means she's rescued or killed or something else.

    I enjoyed episode 5 for the answers and questions it brought up, but I don't think you needed a whole episode- with only 8 episodes, I wish they would have spared a few minutes to advance the main plot because I'm worried with only two episodes, one of them dedicated to posessed!Vanessa, that they'll rush things in episode 8. I think they've announced next season will be 10 episodes, which I'm happy for as it would give them more time to flesh out the characters and storyline (no way would it be more than 12 episodes, not on Showtime).

    Yeah, for a first season I'm ok with the slow pace and not all the characters getting fleshed out (poor Sembene), as long as they fix these things in S2.
