  1. Oh shite, Cosima! I love you and so does the entire Clone Club :)

  2. "you have to find Beth Childs!" OMG Beth gets a mention! Rachel is losing her shit! Everyone thinks Leekie was killed like by a professional or something hah its just Donnie.

  3. Right when we thought the cop storyline was over, too! And hell hath no fury like a corporate clone...

  4. Anyone care to lay bets Rachel is going to switch sides after this?

  5. I don't think that will happen, Rachel is much more interesting as an enemy.
She might consider it, but I think she will stick with what she knows.

  6. True, but on the other hand her season 1 line (to Leekie) "blood is thicker than you think" is stuck in my mind, and she did just meet her father again. And you never know with this show how characters are going to grow and evolve.

  7. I know its so cool but makes sense because Beth was tracking Maggie Chen who was helping Helena and Proletheans and now Art has been on the same trail, can't wait to see where it goes.

  8. Wait a minute, was that Ethan Duncan standing behind Delphine, in the half-second at about the 0:14 mark, when she yells "Cosima"? Not that we needed much of an excuse to rewatch this...

  9. Now I really want to see Vic meet Helena. And mistake her for Beth :)

  10. Ya I think that could happen, especially because I think that's a trademark of this show is that everyone ends up continually switching sides! Not that I think Rachel is someone too generally trust worthy, I think she could be more dangerous than Helena, but I do feel like her stoic behavior is just her over compensation for her actual sentimentality and personal drive!

  11. Yes it is! Good catch!

  12. Y'know, if Rachel threw her lot in with the Clone Club, I can't decide which would be a more explosive confrontation: Rachel and Helena, Rachel and Alison, or Helena and Alison. Getting even one of these scenes would be... would be... actually, I don't think there's a word for how awesome it'd be.

  13. I hope Cosima gets Kira's tooth. I hope that her treatment will be promising.

  14. I want everyone to meet Helena, still waiting for Alison to meet her!

  15. Helena meets Mrs S: they bond over talking about rifles.
Helena meets Cosima: Helena asks about how they were made, Cosima realises Helena's educational level might not be up to the task of handling the explanation and goes off on a weird tangent, Helena is fascinated by Cosima waving her hands about so much
Helena babysits Alison and Donnie's kids: they fingerpaint all over the walls
Helena tries to hug Alison: Alison squeals and shies away
    :)

  16. Haha I love of of these ideas!

  17. I love the Helena meets Alison and Alison babysits her kids, that would defently be a scene I'd love to see watching Helena & kids fingerpaint walls,oh yes that would be awesome,i can totally see the character Alison's mouth drop & maybe flip out :)

  18. True, but I can see Rachel 'harvesting' Kira for the cure to the disease and since she wouldn't get any help with the current batch of clones, she would turn back to Dyad.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Fair point, assuming the cure works... which this promo seems to suggest otherwise. I think we can rule out Rachel going over to the Proletheans - unless Helena's offspring are a better match?

  20. And in a kind of sequel to Alison teaching Sarah how to fire a gun, Helena teaches Donnie basic gun safety. Then complains to Alison afterwards about how useless he is, lapsing into Ukrainian swearwords.

  21. Rachel switching sides.....

I'm not entirely sure that even if she DID join CC, she'd stay. She's very manipulative. I could see her being part of CC only to get what she wants (Kira) then jumping ship. I also see a bit of a jealous streak where it comes to Sarah. Sarah is what Rachel isn't (or can't be): a mother. I also have to wonder if Paul isn't another one of those things.

I do agree with Leon : she's too good at being an enemy, but as you stated M.Dog "blood is thicker than you think" has been sitting in the back of my mind.

    What A Show!!!!

  22. Yeah, Rachel's other memorable season 1 line is "motherhood is wonderful" - straight to Sarah's face. Thing is, while she's been set up as this big enemy, now that we've met her boss Rachel seems more like the villainess' henchwoman than the main supervillain, especially with Leekie out of the way. An interesting start to season 3 might well be seeing an exiled/on-the-run Rachel turn up at Clone Club's door. With this show, "anything might happen" is often the least that happens. Could any of us have predicted Leekie would leave the show, least of all like that? And yes, I am speculating about Rachel to keep my brain from exploding about what else might happen in the next episode. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Please..... no brain explosions! lol

Rachel is The Wild Card.... and the Momma Bear in me says:
    Keep her away from Kira!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Too late, Jordan Gavaris posted a photo of an explosion on his twitter, captioned something like "your brain after the next episode"

    ReplyDelete
  25. Let me guess..... a pic of Leekie's hilariously shocking demise!
    : O

  26. Hey, I have a couple of theories, one relatively semi-plausible, as to how Beth might have faked her death. Ask me about it if she does come back. My less-plausible theory is: Beth was a Heroes fan, and was reenacting Claire Bennent's videotaped suicide attempts; complete with waking up halfway through a post-mortem, thanks to the genetically engineered regenerative healing that Cosima theorised about Kira's accident. Save Cosima, Save The World :p
