A scheduling conflict meant her bad girl jailbird character Alex Vause appears in only a handful of episodes of the second season of Netflix series Orange Is The New Black.
But Laura Prepon has reassured fans that her sassy alter ego will return for the entirety of the third season, which is currently shooting.
'Netflix doesn't do the standard contract of blocking you off for a few years, so I had a conflict come up,' she explained during an appearance on The Today show on Tuesday.
'It's since been handled and we've started season three and I'm in every episode. I'm so bummed that I wasn't in season two more. Sorry you guys! But season three, we're already shooting and it's going to be awesome.'

ReplyDeleteI thought that she was a regular from how much she was in S2. I think she was in it as much as Piper was. Which is great as I love Poussey! (I feel like Dean Winchester would be proud of me for that one haha). If she's in it even more next season then that can only mean good things for the show.
ReplyDeleteI just had a quick google and it was announced early in May that she was back for season 3 as a regular. I think it was pretty much announced the same time that they renewed it for a third season.
ReplyDeleteYeah I assumed she was as well but she wasn't but she became my favourite character this season so I'm glad we will be getting more Poussey adventures.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure about S3 at all, I read she tweeted they wouldn't the show anymore cause the creator has passed away. Must be a wrong info. Either way glad she'll be back.
